Dr. Ferullo and his staff are the best!!! I moved to town 3 1/2 months ago and the first dentist I went to tried to get me to take a bunch of X-rays I didn't need (I had emailed them those from my previous dentist from only a few months before, and they said they couldn't use them), told me I had a cavity I didn't have (I'm 54 and have never had a cavity), then wasted my time by saying they don't do cleanings on the first new patient appointment, even though when I made the appointment I was clear that all I needed was a cleaning. After that experience I switched insurance companies and made an appointment with Dr. Ferullo because he was close to where I live. When I called his receptionist was very friendly and told me that if I emailed her my X-rays they should be able to use them, and told me that I would be able to get my teeth cleaned as a new patient on my first appointment.When I showed up to the appointment it was an intimate office, not a patient mill like so many dentist offices have become these days, and everyone was super nice and competent. Dr. Ferullo had a special tool to check for cavities and confirmed what I had suspected - that I didn't actually have a cavity and the previous dentist had wanted me to undergo an unnecessary procedure just to bill the insurance company. Dr. Ferullo and everyone in his office are the best - they saved me from unnecessary X-rays and an unnecessary filling. AND, I got my teeth expertly and comfortably cleaned on the first appointment. The hygienist was so gentle my gums didn't bleed at all, and my teeth still feel amazing. I can't say enough good things about this dental practice.

Had a great experience very friendly and informative. I came to the dentist after 6 years and they made me feel very comfortable. Easyish to find.

Highly recommend! Great/professional folks. Very nice vibe and super convenient in downtown St Petersburg.
