I have used both the Eastleigh & Portsmouth clinics for my hip bursitis over the past 3 months. Lewis suggested I had Shock Wave treatment over a period of weeks, and he also gave me an exercise regime in between time. He was very professional & explained everything fully. My pain has gone now and I shall continue to do my exercises & Pilates. A huge thank you to him. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and Active Motion to anyone experiencing msk pain.

I was so grateful to find Lewis as I had bad whiplash and he has been an absolutely brilliant therapist to help get rid of my painful whiplash. I would highly recommend him to anyone as he deals with the issue at hand and works at reducing the pain . Fantastic!

I visited the clinic as i had a very painful and debilitating sciatica flare up and was begining to think it would be a long term problem but after only 4 physio sessions with Lewis I am completely pain free! I'm so grateful, he's so easy to talk to and was very kind and reassuring and obviously very good at his job. Any twinges in future and I'll be back, can't praise him highly enough.

Millie is excellent. Very informative on the intro meeting and explained everything brilliantly about Plantar Faciitis. Just had 1st of 6 sessions with Shockwave and Hands on and am able to walk as normal which havent been able to do for weeks. Highly recommend

The Actuve Motion studio at Eastleigh has been my go to place over the last years. Regular monthly massage to keep me on top of niggles and aches and pains. When it does get serious, Jordan, Lewis and the team and brilliant at getting you back to full activity. A badly torn adductor earlier this year was expertly handled ( both remotely and hands on) and within 3 months all was good again. Highly recommended for maintenance and resolution. Excellent service.

I saw Lewis because I was in extreme pain with sciatica. I've now had 4 sessions of deep massage and the pain is easing and I have more mobility and flexibility. He is very knowledgeable, experienced, professional and empathetic. He has given me exercises and lots of advice and tips which are all helping and I will definitely see him again if I need to. He is also friendly and I felt very safe with him. 100% recommended!

I had back pain for a few years to the point if i bent slightly for 2 to 4 mins my whole back would ache and seize up. I put up with this for years after i stopped going to the gym for years and been less active. I found active motion online and decided to book a consultation and see if there is anyone that good relief me of my back troubles. After the consultation i was convinced that it was worth the money to give it a try. I was told Lewis would help me for 8 sessions. After the first 4 sessions with Lewis i couldnt believe he sorted my back out and after the first session he said my back was like concrete with no movement at all. Lewis is a very nice lad and is an expert in he's trade and i would recommend him to anyone with an pain. Lewis was very friendly and makes you feel at ease. Anyone with back pain or joint trouble please go and see Lewis or active motion you wont be disaponted. 5 stars from me

I came to Active Motion with tightness/achiness in my IT Bands and quads, worsening as I was training for the London Marathon this year. I saw Millie and Lewis and would thoroughly recommend both of them. Knowledgeable, friendly and effective, they helped me throughout my training with regular sports massage which was purposeful and targeted. I was therefore able to complete the marathon and it's fair to say I wouldn't have been able to have done that without both of them.

After running a 10k race I developed sciatica from my right lower back into my right bottom, hip/leg, very painful, walking was uncomfortable. At the beginning of 2026 I experienced pain in my knee whilst running! I was really worried, at the age of 68, I was not going to be able to repair! To lose my ability to run would be such a great shame having worked hard to reach personal goals. Active Motion Injury Clinic was recommended to me. Having made contact I was able to get an assessment appointment and subsequent treatment with Owen. The treatment was focused, personal and a diagnosis quickly located the issue, my IT Band! I came to Active Motion with SI joint pain with muscular tightness along with chronic nerve pain. I had had previous physiotherapy on and off for 7 months which although helped had still left me struggling.I saw Owen for a pre treatment consultation. He listened intently to my problems and then suggested a way forward. I can’t rate him highly enough always going out of his way to set up an exercise programme and reaching out to me after treatment to see how I was coping.My whole experience at Active Motion has been 5 star and I would not hesitate to recommend them in the future.
