Hands down, the very best Indian cuisine that I have had in the US. From the first bite to the last, everything was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. We had a chicken dish and a lamb dish, and a star was the green chili naan. Cocktails creative and wonderful. The staff was wonderful, with spot-on recommendations and attentive but relaxed service. A beautiful take on Indian cuisine. The vegetable samosa was perfectly crisp and full of flavor, the hariyali paneer was incredibly fresh and vibrant, and the chicken tikka masala—absolute perfection, rich, comforting, and beautifully balanced.The service made the experience even better—our server was genuinely kind, warm which added such a lovely personal touch.Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and elevated.

The most delicious and creative Indian food anywhere.We shared the calamari (absolutely fantastic) and crave worthy tandoori oysters as starters.I had the dal palak and tasted all of the other dishes. All were scrumptious.This place pairs excellent ambience with exceptional wine and cocktail options along with its excellent food.It is a must do next time we’re in Charleston.

The food was delicious, and the service was really good. Don't be afraid if you aren't sure how to pronounce something or if you don't know what something is, the staff was helpful and ready to answer any questions that we had. Excited to go back again to try other things we didn't get to try this time around.

Wonderful food and service! We had eaten at Chaat in Hong Kong earlier this year and I thought that was the best Indian food I’d ever had, but Rivayat just topped it!
