Hiring Big Bling and the Funk Machine was one of the best things we did for our wedding!! Mike and Dawn were so helpful over the year from booking to the event date, making sure we had all the necessary info filled out like must plays, etc. And on our day, 10/24/26, they DELIVERED. Almost every single guest mentioned that the band blew them away. Our dance floor was literally quaking it was insane. My dad got up on stage and started scatting with them at one point, and at the end of the night my husband and I did the Michigan chant (go blue!!) into Mr Brightside. As someone who has attended dozens of weddings with bands, BBFM was the absolute best and I'm so grateful they were ours! One of my best friends saw them at a wedding in Charleston and that's how we hired them. They don't have much of a social media presence which made me apprehensive, but I trusted my gut and my friend and hoped they'd be great. I'm so glad I did because they were absolutely EPIC.

Where do I begin?! Big Night Dynamite listened to every one of my wants, needs, and dreams, and then went above and beyond to make them all come true. From the second line in to the best first dance ever, they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Four solid hours of killer music had multiple guests coming up to me, asking the band’s name and telling me how much they loved them. And of course, the second line out was just the perfect ending. Big Night Dynamite is still on the lips of my guests—and mine as well. Don’t hesitate for a second—book them! You won’t regret it!

We cannot say enough great things about Big Night Dynamite! From start to finish, they absolutely brought the energy and made our wedding reception an unforgettable party. They perfectly catered to our playlist requests, blending our favorite songs with their own incredible style, and kept the dance floor packed all night long. Not only are they insanely talented musicians, but they also know how to put on a show! Their stage presence was electric, and they didn’t just play music—they became part of the celebration, engaging with our guests and even showing off some fantastic dance moves of their own. The energy they brought was truly contagious, and we’ve had so many guests tell us how much they loved the band. If you’re looking for a band that will keep the party going, make every moment feel special, and get everyone out of their seats, look no further. Big Night Dynamite exceeded every expectation, and we are so grateful they were part of our big day. Thank you, BND, for making our wedding night one for the books!

My client hired Great Grand Finale Band for their wedding and we could not have been happier - they were simply amazing! As an event planner, i'm always conscious of how important the band/entertainment plays into any event and GGF did not disappoint! Guests were on the dancefloor for nearly 3 hours straight as the band crushed it with their infectious energy, their lively performance and their incredible talent. As an added bonus, the band leader was pleasant, collaborative and kind, making the planning and the evening pure joy. Highly recommend!

We booked the Az Izz band through Music Garden and all I can say Izz, WOW! Totally unbelievable experience from booking to reception! Mike Strickland worked with me from start to finish and made this happen for us! Az Izz made the wedding reception! They were phenomenal and the crowd loved them. No one left the dance floor the whole night! Thank you so much for making our daughter’s wedding reception one of the best days of our lives!!!

WOW!!!!! Our daughter was married 2/3/24 and we have been asked for the contact information for this band from multiple guests. They hit a homerun!!!! We could have used a much larger dance floor. They were very easy to engage and were friendly and professional in all interactions. Most importantly, they were EXCELLENT performers and engaged all generations of guests who attended the wedding reception. They also did an amazing job of helping us manage the agenda for the evening. Would highly recommend. Thank You!!!!!!!!

Five Star Funk Band was my wedding band and they were AMAZING! Best band I have ever heard. They didn’t take 1 break and had all the guests on the dance floor all night long.

My husband always says that to have a great party, you only need great food, great booze, and a great band. Accordingly, we splurged to get Five Star Funk, one of Music Garden's big bands with a horn section (and unexpected choreo!). They were absolutely phenomenal with HUGE energy and I had so many people coming up to me throughout the night to comment on how fantastic they were. Truly worth the splurge. Don't hesitate!
