We were driving through and looking for a quicker dinner than sit down but healthier than fast food, and decided to give this a try. We were both very happy with our orders! We got two different platters, both delicious and well portioned, at a good price point! The mild sauce was very flavorful, and the white sauce was delicious without any heat. The fries were hot and fresh. My only disappointment was that the semi recent photo of the menu showed baklava, but it's not on the menu now. But dinner was delicious! I've included a new photo of the menu- the smaller platters don't include fries. I highly recommend Downtown Platters!

The food is always fresh, the staff is quick, and the prices are unbeatable for the amount of food you get. If you're looking for a Smashburger or a solid Lamb Wrap that actually has flavor, this is the place.

I have tried a couple of the halal platter places. They all have the same thing but the flavor isn't there like this place.Best rice I have had in a while. Most flavorful rice. The salad had seasoned veggies chopped on it with a refreshing mint addition. Then the fries are those perfect fries that you always like to get at a really good burger place. I tried chicken and it was great. Should have got extra sauce to dip fries in.Overall out of five of the places I have tried in town this is by far the best flavor. The portion is perfect where you are filled but not overfilled.Can't wait to try fish the fish and the wraps and the burgers. Surprised there isn't a fish sandwich.

I ordered the lamb over rice for me and a chicken wrap for my husband. Lamb and rice were delicious. I normally get my LOR from a different spot but I'll go here from now on. I can't say how the wrap was because he hasn't eaten it yet.It was also very clean inside.
