We had an issue with our HVAC system, not getting good heating or cooling out of it. McMahon were able to figure it out, it turned out to be several things all limiting the HVAC - a dirty coil, a filter we didn’t know existed, a part installed that shouldn’t have been there - until it got fixed. Their people are nice and able to explain what happened for us normal folks. Highly recommend.

We recently had mini splits installed in our big-ass Victorian by McMahon. Our house was always freezing in the winter and boiling in the summer. And because of the layout of our place (lots of rooms/no real open areas) we had to have so many window units that it never really cooled anything down. But that's not the case anymore. And we couldn't be happier. From the start, everyone at McMahon was just awesome to work with. Our first contact was Steven, who explained everything to us and helped us problem solve for what would be the best solution. After we decided that, Ledi did most of the installation (always with a helper). Ledi does more work in a day than I do in 3 months. He was just great (even our pets loved him). The electricians were awesome. Everyone involved was stellar. McMahon even helped us with the MassSave info we wanted to fill out for an interest-free loan that was available.I can not say enough about them. If you are looking to get any heating or cooling units installed, use them. You will not be disappointed.

I needed a new boiler put in. Jack and Ron were awesome. Very professional and very knowledgeable. They took their time to make sure everything was working properly. They are very personable also. Jack also gave me advice on anything I might need further help with.I'm sorry if I got Ron's name wrong. Not sure if it is Ron or Jon. I apologize for not remembering. Thank you for all the time and work they put in. They left my cellar very clean and took away all of the old boiler.

I had a great experience with McMahon Plumbing and Heating from start to finish. Nick came out to quote a project at my commercial property and was professional, thorough, and transparent throughout the process. At my personal home, Pat came out to check a heating concern and performed a detailed inspection to ensure everything was operating properly. It turned out there was no real issue, but I appreciated how thorough and honest he was. Both were knowledgeable, courteous, and easy to work with. I highly recommend McMahon Plumbing and Heating to anyone looking for reliable, trustworthy service.

Our call to McMahon for a furnace/heating issue, on one of the coldest days of the year, was the best call we could have ever made. The office staff was helpful and understanding and pointed Jack in our direction to help with our emergency. Jack was professional, knowledgeable and patient. He was able to get us heat until he and Robbie could replace our furnace. Jack and Robbie are a great team - they were friendly, responsible and conscientious and worked efficiently and neatly to replace our furnace.

Ledi was great! Incredibly helpful!

The technician Ledi informed me the installation of my new heat and hot water boiler for my house will take 3 days to finish during which I’ll have no heat nor hot water in the cold days of December. I accepted the reality and allowed the work to begin. The tech and his helper worked nonstop, no break even for coffee I offered, and the job was finished in 2 days instead. I now have heat and on-demand hot water for my house. This is what I call “under promise and over deliver”. Great job Ledi!!! Thank you for the clean and fast job.

Patrick and his assistant performed the annual tune up on my heat pump system, which McMahon P & H had installed in October 2024. Patrick explained what needed to be done. He also drove to a store and purchased the required air filter, replacing the existing one. The team was professional, friendly, efficient and left the area clean. I was very pleased with the service. A job well done!

We recently had a new boiler and water heater installed by McMahon and we were very satisfied with their work. Steven gave us the quote and was very responsive to our questions. Pat and Jack got the work done within 2 1/2 days and they cleaned up everything after they finished. Special shout out to Jack who also figured out why the hot water pressure was low in our kitchen faucet. We’ve had at least 5 others plumbers look at it and no one could figure it out - until Jack. Great experience from start to finish!

My overall impression of this company and their employees is that they are professionals, excelling in knowledge, and customer service. We are overwhelmingly impressed with Steve Hardy mechanical operations Mgr. And Patrick and Jack who installed 3 gas furnaces in our home. Patrick and jack immediately put their heads down and worked so hard installing our furnaces. They are Hard working young men who's goal is to do a fabulous job and ensure that we were pleased. This company also installed a large water heater for us problem free. Thank you. We very much appreciate your work and professionalism. We highly recommend this company and their employees.
