We have been luckily enough to have both of our girls attend Little Lane over the years. A real home from home experience where our youngest goes bouncing in without even looking back. We love the regular updates- showing us what they have been up to- crafts, fun tuff trays or often exploring outdoors and local area! Staff are always on hand daily to give detailed handovers or answer any questions. Little Lane go above and beyond with the little touches- making memories and keepsakes we can treasure in the future. They are not just a nursery but an extension of the family. Thank you for being so amazing with our girls over the years- we feel so lucky to have been part of the Little Lane community.

My son started with Little Lane as a teeny 9 month old and it’s wonderful to see how much he has come on. I get lovely photos and posts throughout the day so I don’t feel like I miss too much of our time together. His favourite thing to do in the evenings is to go through his day and he tells me all about his friends or what they’ve been doing. The outings are great and he’s always able to explore outside whether in the nursery garden or out in Stamford. The staff have helped him develop especially with his communication so grateful to them all!

Love little lane, we’ve been with them since 2023, I’ve just had one son graduate and I’ve another with another year and a half left, the staff have become such a big part of our lives and they really are wonderful and so caring! They go on daily outings around Stamford which is lovely, the app they use for updates is very user friendly. They really are great at setting them up for school. We have been very happy x

The team here are absolutely brilliant! My daughter loves coming to nursery and looks forward to her days here. She has thrived under their care. I cannot fault the staff one bit. Would highly recommend!

Teddy has been at The Little Lane nursery since he was 5 months old, he's now 4 and a half! Not only does Teddy love the nursery and the team, but so do we. They treat him like their own and that means everything to us. From forest days out to fishing at the meadows, every day is different and he has learnt so much being with them all. Thank you. I highly recommend....Although I'd secretly like us to stay forever and noone to replace Teddy!

Little Lane Nursery has held a truly special place in our family's heart since it first opened its doors ten years ago. Our daughter was one of their very first attendees, and even back then, we were so impressed by the nurturing environment and the dedicated team. We always enjoy hearing about their exciting bus journeys to local farms, connecting the children with nature and where their food comes from. They're brilliant at linking these outings to what the children are learning, like visits to the local pizza place when they're exploring healthy eating, it makes education so much fun and truly memorable! And of course, the fantastic Forest School programs, led by fully qualified Level 3 leaders, are a real highlight, offering unique outdoor adventures that build a deep connection with nature and hands-on learning. Beyond the daily care and activities, Little Lane goes above and beyond to include parents in their children's learning journeys. They work hard to ensure we're always in the loop, sharing many photos daily on the Famly app, along with individual learning observations and detailed progress reports at key developmental stages. They also offer fantastic opportunities for parents to come in and attend valuable sessions, like first aid or workshops on how to further develop children's learning at home. What's more, they truly foster a wonderful sense of community, creating bonds between parents through thoughtful initiatives like "mums' night out," "stay and play" sessions, and the much-loved "Little Lane family day." The consistent excellence at Little Lane is just remarkable. They've created such a vibrant, stimulating, and incredibly loving space where children genuinely thrive. We honestly couldn't recommend Little Lane Nursery highly enough, it feels like so much more than just a nursery; it's an extended family that truly fosters a lifelong love of learning through thoughtful, engaging experiences and genuinely individualised care.

My daughter has been attending for nearly 18 months and I can’t speak highly enough of TLL! I was incredibly anxious to leave her but all of my worries were eased by the fantastic staff. The settling sessions went well and all questions I had were answered. She adjusted incredibly quickly and absolutely loves her time at nursery. She has built fantastic relationships with the staff and her peers. Her development has been staggering since she started, especially her speech! There has honestly not been a single aspect of care I haven’t been happy with. We feel incredibly lucky as parents to have TLL taking care of our child and we will not hesitate to send any future children there.

My two year old has been going to the Little Lane since he was 10 months old, and I couldn’t be happier about it. The setting is lovely and very homely. The staff is excellent, everybody knows my son’s name, even staff from other rooms. I go to work completely confident that he will be looked after as well as he is at home. And not to forget about all the different activities they do, no day is the same, a lot of messy play, they never run out of ideas !! I completely recommend it, I know how difficult it is to leave your child to be looked after while you are at work, and how important it is to feel 100% sure and happy that it is the right place, so I hope this review helps some parents to make the right and difficult decision when it comes to choose the perfect place for your child.

Where do I start.. this nursery is fantastic!!! Sophie started at 11 months old and just left at the end of August to start school. She absolutely loved her time at the Little Lane. Always wanted to go, was always happy when I picked her up. From the amazing, caring staff who would do anything for your child, to all the amazing activities they do with the children, from the walks in the purpose made wagon when she was in the baby room to Forest School in Pre-school and all the Jo Jingles, Yoga, library trips, diddy rugby, trips to the meadows, fire station, shops, train station etc in between, let alone the activities they did in the rooms. Every day was different and enriching. Sophie’s confidence grew and grew throughout her time at the little Lane and they prepared her so well for school that she ran in on her first day, despite not knowing any other children at her school and didn’t look back. I can’t thank this nursery enough, they really feel like an extension to the family. There is nowhere else I would dream of sending my second child once I return to work and I recommend the Little Lane to everyone I meet.

This is a wonderful Nursery, my little boy spent 3 fun packed years there, he started the week The Little Lane opened and he flourished as the Nursery did in those 3years! Helpful and friendly staff, and nothing is ever a problem! A very sad day when he left! Would recommended to anyone looking for a warm and friendly nursery for their children x

My little boy is 3 1/2 and has been going to Little Lane since it opened 2 1/2 years ago. He loves it and we love it. The staff are all amazing, kind, caring, thoughtful and always smiling. The many activities and outings have encouraged him to gain interest in a wide range of subjects from nature, science, art and books. He's constantly surprising me with his knowledge of things he's learnt at nursery. We're just glad that he misses the school intake this year and gets to stay at Little Lane for an extra year! Thank you Little Lane and all the lovely staff for taking such good care of our boy.
