It used to be pretty nice but does not look like anyone closely manages or repairs the place. Good T bar row and back machines . No space for dead lifts. So if ur a serious lifter I wouldn’t come here. I bought one of their granola bars and bit into it and it was harder than a rock. No one would refund me?? .Tanning beds are weak and I got a rash on myLegs and back from using it so I’m not sure if they’re cleaned very oftenCardio equipment is super old , holes in the ceilings and pieces of paper stuffed inside of a vent? Idk pretty sketchy.The place also smelled like mold and mildew so I don’t think the place is clean much. But if ur not serious in lifting and haven’t been doing it for 15 years this gym is alright at best but needs repairs ..

Been a member for a couple months now. Nice staff and wonderful members (haven’t met a bad one yet). The weight room meets all my needs and then some. The shower and locker rooms need to be updated. I also don’t like how the owner partners with people to host kids swim classes and promotes pool day passes to the community on facebook. These facilities should be members and guests only. Pool is crowded enough.

I think all these good reviews are written by the staff. Reality is very different! When you go on line you see a beautiful gym, they have been marketing a lot lately with AI, enhancing features to the trainers, making the facility seem clean and polished. The pictures show the reality (there was a previous picture of a big rusted hole in a women's locker, that was reported 9 months ago and is still there!) Buckets and towels all over the place when it rains, holes in the drywall above the walking track, stained ceilings, etc. They say the pool is heated, it's always really cold (Someone posted that on face book and they took down that comment immediately, they do that with negative comments). They also say that the place is cleaned every evening, you might want to get a refund and find a new cleaner! The owners are very rude and the manager can be rude at times also. The gym members are typically older and have been going there for years, yet they are putting on new classes aimed at the younger crowd! And don't get me started on the smell, it hits you as soon as you walk in the door, smells like someone or something died in there and it also smells of mold. And no air conditioning. Very surprised the city has not shut this place down! So, if you are looking for a slightly higher prices gym, that is dirty, run down and smelly with no air conditioning, this is the place to do. Don't believe me, just go and tour the place.

Last few times i been in it smells like something died as soon as i walk into the gym! Too many members sitting around hogging machines nose deep in the phones.I'd appreciate if the personal trainer stopped filming people in the sauna and screaming. There are people trying to change without a camera in their faces.

Dropped in for the track specifically and The yoga. and when it rains there have been towels laid out all over the place instead of fixing the leak. , Absolutely unacceptable, I almost slipped .im wondering if this issue has been addressed by any other members., you could go to planet fitness down the street on Warren for much cheaper and get more for your buck. I wanted to come to this gym since I live walking distance. The sauna is not even hot, only good thing is the pool and hot tub. There is a stinky smell of this place on their first floor.I guess as a Westland resident I will have to commute to Romulus for a decent indoor track and air conditioning now. Low budget gym.

I like that there’s not a bunch of teenagers running around like most gyms, it’s quiet and calm. The rooms are separated which I like a lot. The pool area is open a big. Old and vintage but nothing is wrong with that! It’s out dated for being a gym, but I don’t mind that. Some people may think it could use some updating but doesn’t bother me one bit I’m there to workout. I’ve been going to forum for 3-4 years. Never had anything to complain about. I think the workers are all nice. The manager or owner is very cool. I tell a lot of my friends to join this gym. I prefer this gym out of all the gyms I tried. : UPDATE : I tried the classes today for the first time and I did Pilates, the teacher named Stephanie was so fun and very professional!The price for the class was reasonable and we are planning on coming to Pilates here again

I have been a member of this gym for over 12 years. I like the small Town feeling a great community of people that care about each other and lift each other up. Everyone knows each other. Different classes at different times to fit everyone’s schedule people at the front desk are always cheerful and helpful. Have enjoyed coming here all these years used to live in the area now live very far away and still come thanks forum staff. Jen H
