I was looking for someone to train my dog, and when I googled and read reviews, Ora Dog Training had the best reviews. When I called to get more information, I spoke with Bijan. After talking with him, I was sure that Bijan was the perfect trainer for Snoopy. Bijan did a great job training my dog. Snoopy is a wonderful dog, but she pulled when walking, could never be taught to lie down, and could never be trusted to walk off-leash. In her enthusiasm, she also loved jumping on guests. I loved the videos Bijan sent of Snoopy's progress. Three weeks with Bijan, and she is now a pleasure to walk. She follows commands to stay and down, is good off-leash, and greets guests appropriately. Before taking Snoopy home, Bijan provided a three-hour training program to ensure I had the necessary skills to maintain all the new abilities once she returned home. I highly recommend Bijan to anyone who wants a well-trained dog.

We found Bijan (ORA Dog Training) mostly by accident, as we were really concerned about our dog's behavior and needed someone we trusted to help. What a blessing it was that we found him! He and his team are kind and understanding. They recognize and intuitively adjust their approach based on their expert knowledge of dogs and their human parents! There is so much to share, but here is the bottom line: the training made a significant difference, and while not inexpensive, from our perspective, it was worth every penny. Is it tough leaving your dog/fur-baby with a 'stranger' for three weeks - it sure is. To help with our angst, we received regular video updates, and Bijan is extremely responsive when we sent messages/questions. This gave us comfort that he was in a loving environment (it is actually a family home). Our dog is far less anxious, and we are actually in charge of the relationship (in the past, it felt like he had trained us—and he had!). We also learned so much from Bijan in terms of why certain behaviors exist and how to work with your dog to ensure he does his job (which is, as we now understand, to be there for us, to be cute, cuddly, and well-behaved). Murray (our dog) is four years old, and we did not think it was possible to change his behaviors (growling, not listening, barking like crazy, etc.), but in just 21 days, he is no longer exhibiting the worst of those behaviors. Yes, we need to keep the training going, which is key. If you are not willing to keep it going, then you will have wasted your money. In our case, we are learning as our dog does. We are so grateful and would not hesitate to recommend ORA Dog Training—it has made a huge difference to the quality of life in our home (both for the two-legged and four-legged residents!). Thank you ORA - amazing work.

We trusted Bijan with our German Sheppard and Huskey and they both learned so much, and with his training when we picked up, we now know how to keep them sharp and how to even teach new behaviors, we're very happy with the training and information Bijan and team provided.

ORA dog training did a great job with our Aussiekai. When we first brought him to Bijan he was wild, peed in the house, and wouldn't listen. Now he is much calmer, listens to commands, and goes to the bathroom on command. Thank you so much for everything!

I cannot recommend ORA Dog Training enough. Bijan and Dan have completely changed mine and my dog’s life. Through the three week boarding program they built a solid foundation of my dog’s obedience. Once I got him home I was able to build upon that with constant tips and tricks from Bijan. The training doesn’t stop once you get your dog back and Bijan will help you to maintain it throughout the dog’s life. Incredible! I’m so happy I went to ORA.

Bijan and his team are awesome. My dog was a little out of control and they turned him around, where it's a pleasure to walk him around other animals and people. I highly recommend them if your dog needs training.

Jolene is a different dog. Calmer and less excitable. Actually walked beside a cat and she never left heel. Would do again in a heart beat. I will continue to use the commands. Together we will improve.

Bijan and his apprentices COMPLETELY transformed my two pitts Bravo (45lb) and Saint (65lb). Before, they were out of control, sometimes even lashing out at each other, and for Bravo, at pretty much anything that moved or made a sound she didn’t recognize. While she still has some work to do really cinching the idea that everything isn’t out to get her or her owners, she is so much less reactive and less anxious and able to self regulate even if she does have a slip up, we have had guests over and she has been a marvel compared to before, relaxed and more self assured. While Saint is a always a sweetheart, before, he had no boundaries, would counter surf, and used his size to bully and ignore others. Bijan brought them back to us with all the ground work in place and it has completely changed my relationship to them, now there is not only love, but respect and partnership, they are a joy to walk and they hang out calmly inside the house and are overall so much less stressed/stressful.
