What a wonderful experience! Daria has such an inviting and welcoming spirit. She took time to really understand what I was looking for and did a fabulous job giving me just that! Daria is a really lovely person and just based off of her personality and how much I enjoyed her company I'm giving 3 stars.Unfortunately there were a few things that left me disappointed.If you prefer round edgless shapes for your hair you may need to go elsewhere. I'm not a fan of taper cuts, sharp edges, or those triangle cuts a lot of the wash n go girlies have. I dont think this stylist had much experience in round cuts. I gave free range to cut off as much hair as nessecary for the look I was going for and left with a hair cut that was nothing like I wanted. I has brought multiple pictures and stated explicitly I do not like taper cuts, or Sasuke Uchiha-esque cut. I had plenty of length and density. What I left with looked closer to the sharp tapered cut Daria was wearing if anything. The back of my head was left very short while the front was significantly longer. It was a tapered cut.There were also uneven parts, I had a part by my front right ear that hung awkwardly and still reached my collarbone when pulled taut, while directly behind that section the hair stopped directly in the middle of my ear. I tried to let it grow keeping the faith it would fluff out into a look i liked but it never did. I eneded up using a pair of professional shears and giving myself a cut much closer to the look I wanted and was happier. But still, due to the extreme taper I received I still have to wait for the back of my head to catch up to get anything resembling the rounder look I was going for even after cutting a decent amount from the top and sides to try and match.Besides the haircut she was also an hour late to an appointment she had already pushed back. 🥲She's a nice person, and besides the tardiness was professional and fun to chat with. If you do like tapered cuts she may be the stylist for you.

I booked with Daria to get a curly cut for the first time in several years, I was super nervous about the appointment because I’ve historically had poor experiences with stylists who cut my hair.That being said, this was the BEST haircut I’ve ever received. She asked for reference pictures of haircuts I liked in advance as well as a description of my hair care routine. When I got into the salon she was super patient and listened to all of the concerns I had along with the type of shape I wanted. She walked me through the different steps we took while styling my hair, educated me about the wash and go I was getting, and then proceeded to show me everything step while cutting my hair. She was super personable, made me feel very comfortable, and is extremely educated about natural hair care. Would 10000% recommend and am looking forward to going back for another cut in the future.

I've been to Daria for two appointments now and I can confidently say that she has completely improved my confidence and comfort with wearing my (type 4) hair in its natural curl pattern via wash & gos. I visited Daria for a define + cut master class in March. I was quite nervous because of some recent hair challenges I’d had and needed a change for my upcoming birthday. Although this was my first service with her, I immediately felt comfortable with Daria and she helped me choose the best cut for my hair. I’m still receiving so many complements! I have been wearing my natural hair for over a year but never went to a stylist to get it shaped up or taught about the things I should be doing.
