It’s been a year since I joined CrossFit Kovu, and this has been a life-changing experience with amazing owners, coaches, and a community full of supportive athletes. I had been recommended to try CrossFit for years, but I never wanted to because I felt it would be the “typical gym bro” environment. It was completely the opposite of what I expected. They were welcoming from the beginning and focus on consistency, proper technique, and avoiding injuries.I couldn’t be where I am today without this place. My confidence in my fitness has increased, and my strength..both physically and mentally has grown tremendously. I went from not being able to do a push-up to being able to do them and have reached many PRs.This is a special place, and I hope to have the pleasure of being a member for life. If you are contemplating joining, do it—you won’t regret it! It’s worth every penny and more. If you’re worried about your fitness level, don’t stress, they will work with you to build you up while also pushing you to be your best.

This gym is amazing!!! Never dreamed I could do CrossFit in my 50s. Boy, was I wrong. The coaches are knowledgeable and are there for you every step of the way. Members are supportive and cheering each other on in every class. Give 'em a try! You won't regret it!!!!

Let me tell you about the best gym in town. I have done crossfit off and on for 10 years. 2018 was the first time I came to Crossfit Kovu but some health issues kept me from sticking around, fast forward to 2022 and I joined again.This time I was more committed, and it grew to become the best part of my week. I am loud, a little all over the place- thank you ADHD, and always, I mean always, dancing and every single coach embraces me with open arms and makes me feel so welcome. The coaches are top notch. They check on you if you miss too many days and honestly, they have become like those friends you call family. If you are on the fence and you are not sure if crossfit is for you, this gym cares, they will scale any exercise, and work with every person. I have asthma, and autoimmune issues - some days are better than others, but I leave smiling every time. Coach Dre cares about every person that walks in his gym, and it shows in every person there. If you get a chance stop in and say hi, I guarantee you won't regret it.P.S. 6pm class rocks - just saying

Dropped in from Lubbock, have been to a few gyms and this one made me feel right at home! The sweetest crew and coach. They are thorough with movements and expectations to get the perfect workout for your fitness level. Will be back!

I dipped my toes into the Crossfit Kovu waters this week, and boy, am I hooked! From the moment I walked in, the coaches' passion and dedication shone through. They made sure every new move was explained in detail and took the time to help me nail the technique—no confusion here!The members were also wonderful. Friendly, welcoming, and representing all body types and fitness levels, they made me feel right at home. No matter your starting point, everyone is here to focus on the workouts and cheer each other on.Finding this Crossfit gem right in the Montgomery/Lake Conroe area feels like striking gold.
