I only have positive things to say about my experience with All-State Roofing. I have an older house with an addition that has a flat roof. Late December, I noticed a small leak on the ceiling after hard rain. Joe was there a couple of days after my call for an inspection of the leak problem and submitting a quote for the work (which was very reasonable, considering it was not a cookie-cutter job). And thanks to the unusually warm weather early February, Joe could schedule the work much earlier than it was planned. The final result looks excellent, the roof is rebuilt in a much better way than it was originally, to prevent water pooling and premature wear of the roof membrane. We had slow leaks in our flat rubber roof, skylights which lost their seal, and bathroom fans venting to the attic space. The crew did a phenomenal job replacing rotted plywood and insulation, replacing skylights, and venting the bathroom fans through the roof. They also tapered everything on the roof to prevent water build-up and added extra insulation. The crew was respectful of our property, leaving the driveway immaculate every day. No unexpected expenses and the bid was very fair. We will be calling All-State first for any other roofing needs we have! Less

Couldn’t be happier with Allstate Roofing. Joe met with us for an estimate on replacing our roofing and it was a very easy and pleasant experience. We had several other companies come out to quote for the same job and by far, Joe was as the most pleasant to work with. They came out just to check if any animal had damaged my roof and was happy to help me with anything. He also check my entire roof to make sure that everything looked in good condition. Joe and his excellent crew did a full roof replacement on my 2100 sqft split-level home, including two skylights. He is quick to respond and very knowledgeable. He pointed out that the portion of my home above the bathroom had some sagging areas due to humidity and suggested replacement the wood all the way through. I am very happy with the result. Attention to detail is also a plus. I've heard roof replacement jobs can take several days to complete, but these guys did it in just a day! They were very clean, no debris left over. Quick professional service! We had a leaking roof and after calling 3 other roof contractors (none answered or returned my voicemail) I called All-State Roofing. They picked up on the first call and were able to come by and look at it our issue within a couple days. We had two OLD skylights replaced on our home we purchased a few months back. After living here for about 5 months, it rained outside and we discovered our one skylight was leaking. I've worked with Joe a few times and have always had a good experience. When I replaced the gutters on my house, All-State provided a fair and accurate quote quickly, and finished the job with high quality. A couple of years ago, we also had water damage to our sun room after a big storm. Our insurance adjuster came out and blamed our sky lights even though she wasn't able to pin down a reason for the leaking. I called All-State for a second opinion and they were able to determine the source and cause of the leak and give me the next steps needed to fix the problem. It was a relief to have someone who knows what they're talking about come out and not only provide accurate information, but then go on to fix the issue to our satisfaction. Less

I solicited 3 bids for repair work for my leaking roof, and Joe Tomjanovich & All-State Roofing was hands down the most fair, responsive, and knowledgeable contractor I worked with. After determinnig what was likely the problem, he presented me with options, acknowledging that some of them were nice-to-haves but not truly necessary. Even with the nice-to-haves, their bid still came in SUBSTANTIALLY (several thousands of dollars) less than another company, who I won't name but will say "is NOT the answer." I was kept well-informed of project scheduling, provided more honest & knowledgeable answers than I got from my other bidders, and the work was done when I was told it would be and without any issue or mess. He came out last fall and gave me an estimate that was both competitive and covered a broader scope of work than the other "big" roofers around town. Great experience all round. We took out the chimney and had to get the hole repaired. The roof needs to be replaced soon but not immediately. I got 3 quotes. One of the larger companies in town went the fear uncertainty and doubt method, and were more expensive. Definitely tried to pressure me into doing the whole roof. The other company was good a close second. All State got my business as it was the only one who got up an had a look on the roof itself. The gave me some great advice about a flat roof (others missed). Didn't pressure me into doing the whole roof. Joe explained everything, what they would do, what they found and how they were replacing it. They did a great patch and left the place spotless. The price came in slightly higher than the estimate because they needed to do more work. This was not a surprise as the communication was excellent. I knew what, when and how they planned to tackle the job. The biggest endorsement I can give is when I do the whole roof in the next year or two I'll be calling these guys back. I had serious ice dam problems every winter in one spot-- All-State sent somebody out, diagnosed the problem, then worked with me on fixing it in the most effective, economical way possible. Since the entire roof did not need to be replace, we ran into some problems with the existing shingles being so difficult to pull apart. I was afraid the entire side of the roof would need to be redone, but Joe & Clarence came up with a great solution-- looks great and saved me a bunch of money.
