We spent Thanksgiving week 2025 at a property managed by Smoky Mountain Stays. It was a super awesome experience. The cabin was most excellent. Working with Brian was a delight. He is a patient, professional. We much appreciated the opportunity as we celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary there in the Buffalo Trace Cabin in Bryson City. We will be back!

Awesome place to stay, in a very great location! The house was very clean and had everything that we needed. The host is very accommodating, and it was a very smooth process. No complaints at all, would definitely recommend to others and I would stay here again for sure!

This was a great place to stay with family and everyone had enough privacy. The stairs were a little scary in the house but you could easily go outside to get to the cars. Anyone with any disability with walking or going up and down stairs would not be able to stay here. we had just what we needed to make meals and just enjoy each other. There was nothing fancy or modern. Just simple, clean, and rustic.

Had a guys weekend. We started with 4 people and it got moved up to 6 guys. Was responsive with the change. Place was exactly how it was described in the photos. We liked that it was away from everything. Views were great. Highly recommend staying here.

Great property, great price, beautiful surroundings. The pool table was a nice touch. Toilet paper could have been a better quality. Excellent time!

Great location to see some amazing stars. 10-20 min from everything. Bryson City was still on winter time when we went, so unfortunately can not speak much of the small town.Driveway was easy to traverse, but not suitable for anything low clearance with the pot holes. Hopefully it’s graded in late spring on an annual basis.Home was cozy. Only concern we had was the walkway that was partially torn down and both the Fire Pit and Barbecue grill were not able to be used due to the lack of cleaning and up keep.
