I cannot say enough good things about being a patient of Dr. Close. I was recommended by my PT after we weren't making progress with an injury in my foot that had caused plantar facitis. Was referred by my primary to Dr. Close for pain in right upper leg. Determined the right hip socket was bad and was able to give me a cortisone shot to stop the pain. Also discussed options for nonsurgical pain relief. Have pretty much decided on right hip replacement at this point. Dr Close was wonderful to work with, took his time with me and explained a lot, would highly recommend.

Great office and Dr. Close spent lots of time with me in order to diagnose my issue. More time than I expected. The treatment recommended isn’t covered by insurance but the price seemed reasonable considering. Overall, my initial is it was pleasant and provided me options for pain relief.

For 7 months, since I had thoracic surgery for cancer, I’ve had constant abdominal pain. It was a relatively small spot but the burning and ache were constant. Three doctors told me it was nerve damage and there was no treatment. My trainer recommended seeing Dr. Close, because he specializes in muscles and nerves. He spent more than an hour with me, determined to find out the cause of the pain. Using his in-house ultrasound, he located a nerve trapped between my ribs and scar tissue. With a nearly painless injection, he freed the nerve from its trap and IMMEDIATELY my abdominal pain went away. Seven months of pain, and a constant reminder that I have cancer, were gone when I left his office. His determination to find the cause and cure for my pain was relentless, and I am in his debt. It's difficult to express what Lando has meant to me and my injury recovery journey. Steadfast and true, Lando has always been there, showing up for me in ways that were expected and unexpected.Sometimes it has been with joy and enthusiasm, while other times it has been with caution and some wicked RBF, reminding me that nothing is free, it's always earned.Regardless of the guideposts in my journey - follow up, laser therapy or procedure - Lando has been there.I can't recommend Lando enough for your sports medicine needs. I injured my left upper thigh during Jui Jitsu practice and had sever pain for 6 months. Dr. Close was recommended by my physician to take a closer look. During my initial evaluation Dr. Close, listened to my concerns and investigated the possible cause. Through his examination and MRI the torn tendon was identified, we consulted with a surgeon that wanted to cut the tendon that would have resulted in 30 percent loss of use. Dr. Close thought we could do better with guided PRP and rehab. 3 months post PRP and I able to jog and stretch without pain with a clear path back to the mat. Dr. Close, Lando and Spencer are team you want on your team. Let’s go SMOTR.
