Hiring Kimmi was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. As a first-time mom, breastfeeding was something I desperately wanted to do, but I was also incredibly nervous about it. Once my baby arrived, I quickly realized it was so much harder than I ever expected, and I truly don’t know what I would have done without Kimmi.From the very beginning, she was there for me every step of the way. There were times I would text her in a complete panic, and she was always quick to respond, reassure me, and help me figure out what was going on. Breastfeeding can be such a vulnerable experience, but Kimmi has a way of making you feel completely comfortable and at ease. From her very first visit, she felt less like someone I had hired and more like a friend I had known for years.Over the course of about four visits, she helped us perfect my baby’s latch, fit me for pumps and nipple shields, and eventually helped me get to the point where I could breastfeed comfortably without the shields. She taught me that breastfeeding should not be painful and gave me the knowledge and confidence I needed to keep going.Kimmi is truly a non-negotiable for moms, especially first-time moms, who want to breastfeed but have no idea what to expect. Her support made such a difference in my experience, and I will always be grateful for the role she played in making breastfeeding something I was able to continue and ultimately enjoy.

Kimmi was such an incredible person to work with. I had such a hard time breastfeeding, both mentally and physically, after our first painful session; I assumed I would have to exclusively pump. Kimmi came in and gave me great tips and the encouragement we needed to try again and we have been now breastfeeding for almost four months! For all the Team Choice/TTUHSC/UMC moms out there - I filled out a form with the insurance company and they reimbursed me 100% of the cost! Without a doubt though, it would have been worth it to pay out of pocket.

I can’t recommend Kimmi enough! I’m a new momma and was having trouble with painful breastfeeding/shallow latch — I was quickly seen after contacting her. She came to my house and showed me how to latch baby on so he had a deeper latch. His latch improved very quickly after this, and we were getting the hang of it. Kimmi answered any questions I had in person and through messaging. She came to my house for more visits as needed, as my son started having reflux issues. She showed me different feeding positions to try to help with his reflux! Kimmi also helped me with all of my pumping questions as this was all new to me as well. She immediately helped correct my baby’s shallow latch, which made such a difference in my comfort and confidence. She also took the time to measure me for the correct flange size (something I never realized was so important!) and walked me through all of my questions about pumping — including how to start building a freezer stash and what to expect when I return to work. Kimmi stayed the full hour, never made me feel rushed, and was so sweet, supportive, and positive the entire time. I left our session feeling empowered and so much more prepared.
