I was referred to Dr. Lee for my 4 year old daughter's deep overbite and narrow jaw. We had been noticing this development since she was 2 but I was not ready to do anything about it since my baby was still growing and I had hoped that she would "grow out" of her deep bite and narrow jaw. As she developed, I notice worsening of her bite (she would bite her cheeks a lot while eating and her smile was becoming more and more gummy) and brought her to Dr. Lee.Dr. Lee put my husband and I at ease with her how she communicated with us and our daughter and did not push us into getting an appliance. She gave us all possible options and let us make the decision that would best suit our family.I was worried that my daughter would not like the expander, nor like the dentist/orthodontist after getting the expander placed, but that proved to be not a worry at all. My daughter has no anxieties or worries about going back for her post-op exams.Dr. Lee took her time and a did thorough job installing the expander. My daughter was having a hard time with new objects and flavors being in her mouth as her expander was being placed, but Dr. Lee was patient and did not rush her. It has been 2 months and my daughter's bite looks fantastic already.Thank you so much for working with us. We truly appreciate your gentle hand, expertise, and patience with us through this process.
