This version keeps the sharp edge and specifics, but trims enough to fit most review limits while still sounding polished and serious:WritingI got married here on 08/28/2025, and while things started off fine, the closer we got to the wedding the more obvious it became that communication, organization, and professionalism were severely lacking.We were constantly pushed aside during planning. Important details like food tastings were communicated last minute, items we were promised were suddenly unavailable despite paying full price, and centerpiece options shown at open houses magically disappeared when it came time to choose them. One week before the wedding, after already providing my colors, we were told they had nothing available and we were forced to settle for black centerpieces.The wedding day itself was unacceptable.I was 6 months pregnant and multiple bridesmaids were also pregnant. We arrived at 11 AM to get ready in 90+ degree weather and the venue REFUSED to turn on the AC in the bridal suite. No fans, nothing. We spent four hours sweating through hair, makeup, and dresses despite previously confirming multiple times that the air conditioning would be running. Instead, they opened doors and windows after it had just rained, making everything unbearably hot and humid. Every guest was visibly sweating, and my wedding photos are permanently ruined by melting makeup and heat exhaustion.The “day-of wedding planner” included in the package was essentially nonexistent. Printed materials and QR codes we paid for were never properly displayed. Our seating chart was hidden where nobody could see it, leaving guests confused. Our memorial table for deceased loved ones was never set up properly, and desserts we paid extra for were shoved onto a tiny table behind us where nobody even noticed them.The staff behavior was equally disappointing. During the ceremony, staff members in the kitchen area were loudly cursing and laughing to the point that my mother had to ask them to quiet down. We also paid for cider to be served during toasts, but nothing was prepared. I literally had to stop the reception and ask staff to get it while members of my wedding party poured drinks themselves — despite our package including wait staff and bartenders.To make matters worse, parking was cut nearly in half because a farmers market occupied part of the lot, something never disclosed to us beforehand despite promises of ample parking.After the wedding, I reached out respectfully requesting a partial refund with an itemized list of services we paid for but did not receive. I was completely ignored. No response, no accountability, nothing.I am a laid-back person and never expected perfection. What I did expect was basic professionalism and for the venue to deliver what was promised. Instead, I left feeling disappointed, ignored, and heartbroken that so many preventable issues overshadowed what should have been one of the best days of my life.I hope someone who plans to have a special day here especially in the summer requires the staff to follow through with their promises. I will never get my wedding day back. Severely disappointed.

Parking was an important perk for me and my guests, there’s private parking lot for your event -which is hard to come by in San Diego! We used Perpuly events to celebrate my daughters sweet 16. Luis and his staff was amazing and kept the flow of the party in line. Customer service on point. We booked a full package with add ons . Perpuly Event is the perfect venue for any events including graduation. It’s by far the best hall I’ve ever used. Very beautiful, spacious, and needed no extra decorations! There was plenty of room for our guests to relax and enjoy such as the lounge area. The team was incredibly helpful, responsive, and made sure everything was ready so we could enjoy the day stress-free. Their service truly goes above and beyond. Just wanted to share a positive experience with a venue we used recently: Parish Hall LG in Lemon Grove.We hosted a Celebration of Life for my grandmother there last week, and despite the emotional stress of planning something like this, Luis Perpuly made everything so much easier. He was super easy to work with, very accommodating, and didn’t nickel-and-dime us like a lot of other venues I reached out to.The hall itself is really nice inside—clean, spacious, and with a good outdoor area for overflow. It’s part of a church, but since the owners also run an event planning company ( Perpuly Events), it was convenient to get add-ons directly from them without having to hunt down extra vendors. That said, they’re flexible—we brought in our own taquero, and it was no problem at all.The price was very fair, although we did have our event on a Tuesday so im sure that brought the cost down. Regardless, this hall was still significantly more affordable than other we halls that could host a large event.We were planning for 180 people and over 200 ended up coming, and it still worked out great. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a solid, no-stress venue that actually works with you rather than against you.

Had my daughter’s wedding there 2 days ago. Exceptional service. Everyone was very accommodating to us bringing in our own food and even helping to cook some. We had a great time highly recommend doing your event here. Mary and Luis were amazing and were on site during most of not all the time. They took care of any issues we had immediately. The light up dance floor was great as well as the amazing food provided by them.it was also half the price of any other place I researched and much more accommodating.
