Synergy has been great in helping our aging parents get quality in-home care. They have been very flexible in increasing hours/help when needed and making adjustments in coverage or work as needed. The caregivers have been very good, and the management team has been very responsive. Everyone truly cares about their clients. The portal is also nice since it transparently shows scheduling information, care notes, hours, and billing all in one place.

I highly recommend Synergy Homecare. They were able to meet all of our unique requirements in a professional and expeditious way. We were in a pinch for time, and they were able to have a home care assistant in place within 6 hours. We had the same assistant for 5 days (our request). He was kind, thoughtful, professional, hardworking, and just a nice guy to be around, which is not always easy in a 24/7 environment. He was even a great cook; we loved his native cuisine. He made my transition home from major back surgery with a 3-day hospital stay very smooth for both me and my wife. He felt like part of the family when he left.

I really think Synergy was a life saver for me and my mom. She was living independently for awhile and it was a disaster. My wife and I worked full time and we didn’t have the time. I contacted Tom Nelson and he offered us multiple solutions. The care my mom received after that was fabulous. His staff was caring and took great care of her. My mom was a negative personality and even she liked Synergy staff. We used them for quite awhile until she had to go live in assisted living. We were very thankful that we had this help when we needed it most.

My sister and I live across the country from my elderly father, who insists on living at home alone rather than in assisted living and is severely disabled from advanced Parkinson's disease. Before Synergy rescued us, I would worry all the time and my dad was not taking care of himself at all.After my dad got out of the hospital recently (where he ended up after neighbors discovered him after he fell in the yard and couldn't get up and was lying on the ground overnight), he refused to go to rehab and still insisted on going home. He has refused home care for years and again refused upon discharge. Nevertheless, we tried to arrange it. Synergy came recommended by a local, amazing expert who has worked with the elderly for decades. Janelle Wong of Synergy came to do an evaluation and was compassionate and directive in explaining how we could get things set up for home care, like getting old broken laundry machines replaced.Janelle arranged things quickly so we had our first visit set up within a couple weeks. I was really nervous about how my dad would react, but our caregiver was so good at her job and immediately built up a rapport with my typically uncooperative dad---I was amazed. Even though we had a couple visits after that where my dad refused care, our caregiver handled the situation really well and gave my dad his space when he needed it.Now it's been a few weeks that everything has gone smoothly and my dad is in better shape than ever and in good spirits and I am so much less stressed about how he is doing. I know he is in good hands; our caregiver is so kind-hearted, experienced and intuitive about how to work with my dad. Communication with Synergy and the caregiver is excellent, and we are easily able to consult about buying groceries as needed and other situations that come up. I am so grateful to Synergy, Janelle, and our caregiver!

It's nice to know that if a caregiver is unable to show up, Synergy is able to get a replacement person who is competent. After my elderly Mother moved in with us I noticed she started having difficulty performing easy tasks such as remembering to take daily meds, refilling prescriptions, cooking meals, caring for her pets, grocery shopping, etc. Even her personal hygiene steadily went downhill and continued to get worse. As a concerned daughter I suddenly found myself overwhelmed with trying to take care of my family responsibilities and Moms increasing need for help. I got together with family members and we made the decision to contact Synergy HomeCare in Campbell to inquire about help for Mom. At the end of this month (July 2024), it will have been 2 years now that Synergy homecare has been providing Mom with home health caregivers for daily assistance. Synergy HomeCare began sending PT care for Mom approximately 2 years ago. However her needs have slowly increased to requiring a FT caregiver. Synergy’s Caregiver’s have the proper healthcare education (and then some), they are experienced, compassionate and patient, and possess the knowledge to help my Mom with all of her needs. I am confident that she is in good hands all while staying in her own home. Thank you Synergy for all your help and support these last few years, it’s been invaluable! My Dad battled 3 separate cancers courageously because he loved life and his family. He was a fighter. He was fiercely independent and didn’t want to impose on anyone. When it became time to get a caregiver I knew the caregiver would have to attend to his needs while maintaining dad’s independence and self-pride.Dad was discharged from the hospital on the eve of Thanksgiving. We needed someone immediately through Thanksgiving and Christmas. I called Tom Nelson late on Thanksgiving eve. His staff responded immediately with the perfect caregiver for my dad that night.Our caregiver was experienced, savvy, kind, respectful, attentive and available to stay with dad through Thanksgiving and Christmas . We liked him so much I asked Tom if i could buy out his contract and move him in.Synergy’s staff listened well, understood our unique needs, and placed the perfect caregiver into our home. They promptly followed up to make sure we were happy.We thought our caregiver would remain for years. Dad didn’t want anyone else. Unfortunately Dad passed the day after Christmas. Our caregiver visited Dad in the hospital the night before he died. I am super happy with Synergy HomeCare and how well the care givers treat my dad. I just got back from a visit and he was alert, talkative and more active. It was like night and day from my last visit. I was concerned about the recent isolation and the toll it would take on him but he seemed to have an extra spark about him. I am so grateful for Synergy and the services they provide. My husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and having Mike here has been a godsend. I am able to work from home - worry free and know my husband is getting the best care and companionship. Mike is so helpful in taking care of Ray, making sure he has lunch, taken daily walks, engages him in conversation through out the day. Synergy performed a safety assessment for my mother and step dad. They were very professional and provided us with great suggestions on things to do to the home to make it more conducive to their needs. They were not trying to sell us anything, but they do have resources that they provided that can do the projects that we decide to move forward with. My mom is scheduling a knee replacement and is planning to utilize Synergy during her recovery based on how much she liked and trusted to Synergy team.
