Spent a lovely Sunday afternoon here. Had a wonderful roast dinner of sirloin beef with all the trimmings. The whole thing was amazing, great food, nice ambiance and excellent service. Wasn’t too busy to start with, but got busy quite quickly, best to make a reservation I think. Initially we had a table booked for 1:30, arrived early and went straight to our table. The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them. The dinner was fantastic, the beef, so soft and tasty. We both had beef but my Wife couldn’t manage the Yorkshire pudding so I stepped in to help. I’ve never been so full! Lovely food, really enjoyed the experience.

Quality of food here never disappoints. We sat outside in the courtyard/terrace area which is coming along lovely. Just wanted to shout out to the front of house staff. We were served by Daisy who was an absolute sweetheart and attentive host. It’s been a while since our last visit. We won’t be leaving it so long until the next. Great job guys

Quite honestly, the best local dining experience I’ve ever had. Fantastic all round. Food, staff, service, atmosphere…. Nothing could be faulted. Will definitely be returning. Was there today for the ‘Sunday lunch’ which is different level. 100% recommend. 👏🏼

What a lovely cosy place to have a superb Sunday lunch. I loved the decor was in keeping for the period of the property and was very tasteful. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and the lunch was the best I think I've ever had. Not only was it delicious but it was also plentiful and I probably shouldn't have eaten as much as I did.I hope to return on another day to sample their other daily menus and will certainly recommend it to family and friends as a place to have a thoroughly enjoyable meal in comfortable surroundings.

Little gem of a restaurant!Went with my daughter this evening for a late birthday celebration, after coming across it by chance online.The restaurant is small, unique and has a lovely atmosphere.Staff were very friendly in a genuine way, no pretension here as in some places we have been.Really felt that they wanted us to have a good experience and enjoy the food, which we certainly did.Food was well presented and delicious.Will definitely be going back
