Went here for an early birthday meal with partner. My first time but partner had been previously when it was called Chop.Cosy and quaint little restaurant.We went for the signature menu and the food was excellent, no issues whatsoever, well cooked, did the grass fed beef fillet at medium perfectly! Always a good sign when a steak knife is not needed, meat simply melted, perfection!Cocktails here are very very good, old fashioned done properly, dark and stormy was a highlight.Service was impeccable, plenty of time to choose and dishes came out without a great deal of waiting. Staff couldn't do enough to accommodate us.Big bonus points for not sticking a service charge automatically on the bill, one of very few higher quality restaurants I've been to that doesn't attempt this for smaller tables, subsequently you end up tipping more because the service is so good and you don't feel like you're being charged twice, so kudos for this approach.We will be back and definitely recommend.

Our first visit and definitely not our last! Checked their menu before booking and fancied trying their steak and booked for my partners birthday lunch, however they change their menu weekly and I didn’t know this until we had arrived and the steak was no longer on the menu.However our lovely server had spoken to the staff and managed to serve us their wonderful fillet steak off their dinner menu. It was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and the best meal out we’ve had. The chocolate brownie and Eton mess desserts were also fabulous. 10/10 all round.

I visited this restaurant a few days ago and I cannot stop thinking about the food that I ate here. Firstly the garlic and chilli prawns were to die for and the main which was the chateaubriand which was also unbelievable. I asked for very well done which was also accompanied for and cooked brilliantly. I could not recommend this place enough for food enthusiasts.

Once again this neighbourhood gem delivers, despite our high expectations. Friendly relaxed service, very well looked after by JJ and I heard one of the other couples on another table say it was the best food they had ever tasted- we love it too. It’s the little nice touches such as inviting us to sample a new wine, to the pace of food delivery- if you want to slow it down, that’s fine too. Overall another lovely evening out and we will definitely be back.
