Our guide Chris is knowledgeable about flora, fauna, and all the critters at Silver Springs as well as attentive to our needs. Loved that he was protective of the wildlife, especially the manatees we saw. We arrived early so instead of making us wait, we left earlier. That was smart because when we got back, thunder storm clouds were approaching which stops any boats from leaving for safety. They said summertime afternoon thunder storms are common with the danger of lightning. So keep this in mind when you book!Need water bottles, sun hat, swim suit, sun shirt and /or pants as you shouldn't wear sunscreen which clouds the clear kayak.Could see turtles and fish swimming below the clear kayak!

Such a great experience at Silver Springs Park. First time kayaking with my toddler on board. The staff here is amazing. From check in, to getting your gear and send off, the experience was great. They are willing to answer any questions. The spring itself was amazing! Clear waters. We saw a couple gators and that was definitely frightening but they did not bother. Fun times. Great experience!

We had Steve as our guide and he was amazing! Very knowledgeable about the area and its history. We never felt rushed during the 2 hour tour. He also had eyes like a hawk. He could see alligators and birds that we would have missed had it not been for him pointing them out. We didn’t see any monkeys or manatees, but we were told it was out of the season for the manatees to be there, but you never know.I highly recommend them!

Lovely place. We had the privilege to take one of the famous glass bottom boat tours with captain Nate and we could observe a lot of leaving creatures in the spring waters. Truly recommended

Kayaking Florida was excellent to rent from and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. They set up right outside of the rental area of the state park (inside the park - just literally steps away). We saved about thirty minutes of waiting in line by renting through them. Our operator Joe gave us great directions on what to do, helped us into the kayaks and gave us his cell phone to alert him when we were done so we didn’t have to wait. The state park rental company makes you wait in a long line and makes you keep a set of keys with them until you return your kayak. We buzzed through the short line to buy passes and pay the launch fee and went right to Joe. The kayaks were brand new and came with PFD and dry bag. He hauled everything right up to the water for us. We paid the same price as the state park but had a much better experience. Thanks, Joe!!!

Absolutely phenomenal place to visit. We enjoyed seeing monkeys, manatees, many varieties of exotic birds, crocodiles etc. Warm on the water so be sure to bring plenty of liquid.We had a large group (40+) called to make reservations and were told it wasn't necessary. We definitely should have!! They ran out of the boats preferred by our group and the wait time was crazy long. Make sure you reserve if you've got a decent sized group!!

We had a great experience on our tour with Ashley. They communicated well and often prior to our tour. Do arrive early as they suggest. We saw alligators, birds, turtles, and of course a manatee! Ashley took great pictures and videos to share with us so we could enjoy the trip. Would recommend!

Fabulous kayaking trip !!! We did the 4 hr silver springs trip !! We saw so may animals !! We stopped halfway for lunch . Justin was amazing !!! He was so engaging and knowledgeable !!

Was reading through reviews on different clear bottom kayak tours in order to find the best option for our party of 7. I have to say that im actually appalled with the business owners response to many of the poor reviews. Like this one im attaching here stating "go crawl back into your hole" bc a woman didnt have a good experience that she payed for and gave constructive feedback. Id be very worried for the safety of myself and my party with a business owner whose emotional response is to say something like that. Also states their business is called "kayaking Florida" when they are listed as silver springs clear kayaking very visibly on their website and google- super confusing... Very unprofessional and I encourage people to go read the review responses before choosing to go out in the water with someone who could potentially put you in danger with aggression or poor emotional control.

The river and the manatees were beautiful, but the Clear kayak was super uncomfortable, and it made a loud noise with every stroke and constantly bumped into the paddle of the person sitting in front. And also you're constantly sitting in water because water is dripping from the paddles going into the kayak. My recommendation is to take a sit-on-top kayak.

Wonderful experience. The guide was friendly and very informative as we paddled on the river. We learned a lot about the local vegetation and wildlife. The guide knew where to go to see the wildlife. We were able to see monkeys, manatees, alligators, along with numerous birds. I would highly recommend this group for your tour.
