We had such an incredible experience kayaking at Silver Springs with Ashley as our guide! From the beginning, she made everyone feel relaxed, welcome, and excited for the adventure ahead.The beauty of Silver Springs was absolutely amazing. We saw manatees, beautiful birds, and even an alligator, which made the whole trip feel like something out of a nature documentary. Ashley was so knowledgeable and had a great eye for spotting wildlife we would have completely missed on our own.What we loved most was how personal and fun the tour felt. Ashley clearly loves what she does, and her energy made the entire experience even better. The peaceful water, crystal-clear springs, and wildlife made this one of the highlights of our Florida trip.Highly recommend this tour if you want a memorable, relaxing, and truly beautiful outdoor experience

First time at this spring and we did the 2-hour tour… which somehow turned into 3 hours after we took a wrong turn.Joe and his team were so patient and kind. They let us know that we obviously got turned around somewhere, and honestly, it could’ve ended up being a safety issue and much more costly. Instead of hitting us with heavy fees, they simply charged us for the extra time.Thank you guys again for your understanding and for handling the situation with so much grace. We truly appreciated it!

This was one of the best experiences, ever. Ashley was an amazing guide. She communicated what we needed to do once we got into the park clearly. She was professional and knowledgeable, and she took and shared fantastic photos with us. Silver Springs park is so beautiful! We were lucky to see a little bit of everything, including a manatee and monkeys. The clear kayaks they use are well maintained and the upgraded seats were way more comfortable than the stock ones. I was able to take pictures of fish through the boat bottoms, they were so clear. Highly recommend taking this tour. It was the best part of our Florida trip.

Wow this place is absolutely breathtaking!! Our tour guide Ashley showed us so many things we wouldn’t have seen had we came alone! She was able to pinpoint all the historic sites and almost knew exactly where certain animals would be! There was so much wildlife here that really makes this place special, unlike other places that are polluted with human exposure this place felt more relaxing and conservative and actually give you a chance to see the animals and Wild life! We probably seen about 40 monkeys!!!🐒 even some baby monkeys! Ashley was soo good with getting pictures for us and keeping us on a good path I would highly reccommend for anyone looking for an organic experience to check this place out!!!

We had such an awesome time throughout our experience kayaking with Ashley! I was very excited for the whole experience but for some reason failed to think about gators being there.. She calmed me down each time I got nervous, showed and taught me new things and was very knowledgeable about all of the places, sights, animals and questions we had. It was a wonderful experience, she was extremely kind and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! 20/10. Thanks again Ashley!!

We had such a great time on our kayak tour with Chris!! He was so helpful and knew so much about the springs and all the animals, it was awesome to hear all the history and get to hear so much information about the wildlife. Our family of three had a wonderful experience touring the Silver River on single sit on top kayaks with Chris as our guide. We only kayak once in a blue moon and Chris started out the tour with some very good reminders of how to paddle and especially to take it slow. Kayaks are easy to maneuver if you don’t rush and our teen said he had not felt so relaxed in a year. Chris’ enthusiasm for the history and wildlife in the area was contagious and we just loved everything he had to relay to us and he knew exactly where to take us to see monkeys that day. We also saw lots of birds, alligators, and turtles. Chris took us to some of the springs origins and pointed out some movie history and nature elements along the way. Getting in and out of kayaks was easy. Communication was great. We loved the photos and videos Chris gave us from our tour. We also did the boat tour and enjoyed that too but being so close to the water and wildlife offers an unforgettable experience. This was a wonderful adventure for us! Thank you!

We had Steve Tyndall as our private guide and he was absolutely fantastic! He was incredibly knowledgeable about everything, especially all the different wildlife we saw. Everything from alligators, turtles, manatees, various fish, various bird species, and even monkeys! Silver Spring and the river is beautiful and feels like paradise with the crystal clear waters and lush tropical landscape. Steve made this a very enjoyable experience and even took a bunch of pictures and videos that he shared with everyone on the tour. I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking to experience Florida’s incredible natural springs and rivers!

We had an incredible experience on our guided kayak tour with Steve Tyndall. He was knowledgeable, patient, and made sure we didn’t miss anything the tour had to offer. Steve pointed out wildlife, native plants, and all the hidden beauty throughout the park that we would have completely overlooked on our own.What really stood out was how deeply knowledgeable he was about the history of the area and how much respect and care he showed for the wildlife and environment. You could tell he genuinely cares about protecting the ecosystem while helping guests appreciate it.Steve made the entire trip both relaxing and educational. I would absolutely recommend this tour—and especially Steve as a guide—to anyone looking to experience the park in a meaningful way.

Ashley was great! We booked directly with TripAdvisor, who had advertised it as “kayaking with manatees and monkeys” When we got to the location, we were told that it is not the season to see manatees and that we would not see them. “Florida Kayaking” had on their website that it is seasonal, but TripAdvisor didn’t state The manatees were seasonal, so that was disappointing. But Ashley did a great job of taking us around. She also took some great pictures as well. It was a fun trip and we were glad we took it. We Had a great time!

We had the BEST time on our kayaking adventure! Our tour guide Ashley and other on-site staff members were so helpful in working with us and getting us checked in quickly when we arrived at the launch site later than the planned 1 hour early arrival window. Our group traveled from Clermont and encountered some unexpected travel delays. It was a busy day at the park with long lines and we were so grateful for Ashley and her team’s kind and speedy assistance to ensure we didn’t miss our 1:30pm launch time! The kayak tour was amazing with breathtaking views and plenty of diverse and close encounters with the local wildlife including alligators, snakes, turtles, aquatic birds, fish, and even manatees! Ashley was extremely knowledgeable of the area and its history and array of wildlife, and the tour was a perfect balance of learning all about Silver Springs with little breaks to just take in the natural beauty and observe the park’s fascinating animal residents. The tour concluded with Ashley sharing / texting some great photos from the trip including a few underwater photos and videos. As many reviewers shared, be prepared to get wet and bring a towel and change of clothes for after the trip. We had soggy bottoms/legs from water getting inside of the kayak but it was totally worth it! Thank you again, Ashley and team, for making our visit unforgettable!

What an incredible experience! We saw so many birds, fish, gators and even otters who decided to chow down on a snake right in front of us! No manatees unfortunately but that’s due to the season.Steve was wonderful and so full of knowledge. Highly recommend!

WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU GUYS TRYING TO DO?!?!?!?!?WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW JUST WHAT THE HECK YOU GUYS AT KAYAKING FLORIDA ARE TRYING TO DO HERE TO PEOPLE, YOU TAKE A MARRIED COULPE ON A TOUR FOR HOURS, SEE MORE WILDLIFE THEN THEY HAVE SEEN IN THEIR ENTIRE LIFE (and we are old) NOT ONLY THAT BUT YOU ALL WERE ALL POLITE AND CONSIDERATE AND VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND THEN YOU TURN AROUND AND ONLY CHARGE THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR ALL OF IT?????????? YOU GUYS MUST BE CRAZY!!!!!! We had a fantastic time and saw so much and went so many places and with the current…..very low impact. The movies and pictures you sent us were GREAT not to mention “FREE”. Kevin O’Conner was brimming with history and knowledge about the area, the water, the wildlife and a very sharp eye for spotting those gators and fish. He paddles backwards so you see him and hear him very clearly, but he doesn’t run into anything??? Again….had a GREAT time, a must do in the Sunshine State!!!!
