⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️How does a mother truly thank someone who has made their life’s work about helping others — especially when that someone is her own son?Yes, Dr. Austin Pollack is my son, but I am also living proof of the incredible work he does at For Health Chiropractic. After more than 20 years of horrific daily pain — pain that lived at an 8 or 9 every single day on a scale of 1 to 10 — my daily pain level is now closer to a 3 or 4 most days. Am I completely pain-free? No. But I finally have quality of life again, and that is something I never thought I would say.For years, doctors told me not to lift more than 5 pounds. Today, I work out with 25- and sometimes 30-pound weights, and I continue getting stronger.I am doing things I could not have imagined doing since I was 35 years old, and now I’m almost 60. I hike, walk, exercise, garden, fix things, create, and truly live again. My family sees the difference. My friends see the difference. Even people who have known me since 2001 see the difference. What makes Austin different is that he looked at my body as a whole system, not just a list of symptoms. He understood how different systems in my body were interacting and contributing to my pain and health issues.Knowing that I have autoimmune conditions, he encouraged me to follow an anti-inflammatory diet and helped me identify foods my body could no longer tolerate by carefully reviewing my bloodwork, medications, and overall health history. He also recommended supplements to support my immune system, reduce inflammation, and help my body function more effectively overall.Austin understood something that changed my life: my body was never meant to stay still. It needed alignment, strength, movement, balance, and slow, steady progress. He helped me rebuild abilities I thought were gone forever.I still have pain, and some days are harder than others, but I am no longer simply surviving — I am living. My motto used to be, “I’m still walking,” because I have been paralyzed three or four times throughout my life. Now my motto is:“Stay aligned. Stay strong.”That change — and this life I have now — is because of Austin.I love you, Austin, and I am endlessly proud of the way you have dedicated your life to helping others heal and stay healthy.
