Had a first great experience at Atlee Family Dentistry. The staff was extremely warm and friendly, and Dr. Alice Xiang took a lot of time explaining her processes and showing off her crown fabrication lab to a curious patron. I think I've found a home after my long time dentist moved back home to PA.

This dentist has state of the art and really takes time with fixing your teeth. They really care, you also get a goody bag.🙏🏽📿❤️❤️❤️❤️😇

UPDATED 7/19/2026: I never do this but wanted to add additional comments to my earlier review. I recently had a crown done by Dr Alice and was blown away by how efficient the process was. When I had crowns done previously by other dentists, it usually required multiple appointments. Dr. Alice and her assistant were able to do my new crown in one sitting, using their state of the art equipment. What a wonderful experience!My wife and I recently moved to Richmond from out of state and needed to find a new dentist. We were a bit apprehensive because we had been with our previous dentist for seven years and thought very highly of her. We asked several people for recommendations, but no one seemed particularly enthusiastic about their current dentist, so we decided to do our own online research. After reviewing a number of dental practices, we chose Atlee Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in Ashland, VA.Dr. Alice Xiang and her entire team have been outstanding. From the receptionist and scheduler to the dental hygienists and, of course, Dr. Alice herself, everyone is professional, personable, helpful, and genuinely friendly. While our previous dentist was excellent, I can honestly say that I believe Dr. Alice is even better. She explains everything clearly during treatment, is extremely gentle, and is clearly at the top of her profession.I would strongly recommend Atlee Family & Cosmetic Dentistry to anyone looking for an exceptional dentist and a welcoming, highly professional staff. I can honestly say this is the BEST dental office I have ever been to. I have had some past experiences with other dental practices that left me with so much anxiety due to lack of knowledge and uncaring and unprofessional staff. I needed a second opinion on a procedure and was referred to Dr. Alice by Emily who works there as a Dental Assistant. From the moment I walked in I was treated with nothing but kindness. The entire staff is AMAZING and Dr. Alice is a person you do not find often. She took her time with me, explained everything and was genuinely kind not to mention funny. She actually cares about her patients well being both physically and emotionally. I cannot thank Emily enough for referring me and Dr. Alice for making me feel heard and comfortable. It means the world to me! Thank you!

I love it here! I ended up recommending my whole family to get their teeth taken care of here & they love it too! Definitely worth the hour drive , 10/10 recommend.
