A month ago, we discovered our crawl space was completely saturated and moldy due to rats eating our PEX water lines. I inherited an inability to get mold out of my body and therefore I have mold illness. When I discovered the catastrophe in our crawl space, I made the mistake of moving too fast and hiring two companies that contaminated our house with most spores and failed to protect me, despite all of my written and verbal requests. Then I found PNW Mold Control, and wish I had hired them to do all of the work, from the beginning. Not only are they certified to IICRC, the international standard for mold remediation, but management knows from personal experience about mold illness and how important it is to be impeccable when remediating. They came in and did a thorough job of containing their workspace so contamination wouldn't spread, and micro cleaning the most contaminated rooms. They used a non-toxic but effective material to fog our crawl space, living space, attic, HVAC ductwork, and garage to kill all mold spores. They seemed to have integrity from beginning to end, as well as the knowledge and skills to do a careful and thorough job for somebody with mold illness. But just remember, there are some species of mold that are toxic for everyone, not just those who were unlucky enough to inherit an inability to get mold out of the body.

This team is great, after a quick phone call the owner was over in a couple days for a free evaluation. We came up with a game plan and a schedule that worked best for us. They took lots of pictures of the mold they found in our laundry room and removed and replaced our attic insulation at a very fair price. You can tell they pay and treat their employees well and it comes out in the quality of their work. They did a very thorough clean up process too and gave us a recommendation for a contractor that helped us rebuild the room. Thanks.

I had a pleasant experience with PNW Mold Control in dealing with an unpleasant problem- mold in the attic of our home, which resulted from leaky skylights and inadequate ventilation. I appreciated that Klint provided several options for the level of service I wanted. The state does not mandate removal and replacement of all insulation after mold treatment, although that is what I chose to do.In a two day process, his crew protected and sealed off access areas, including corners, removed, bagged and hauled away old insulation, killed, scrubbed and treated the affected mold areas, sealed all skylights and other ceiling penetrations, replaced vent baffles, then sprayed in new insulation to meet current energy code (more than I had before), and cleaned up all materials and debris, leaving things just the way they found them.Both days they showed up EXACTLY on time, and worked from 9-4 in an efficient manner. Their workers were knowledgeable, affable, and seemed genuinely interested in our well being and satisfaction. I had been exposed to other estimates for this kind of work and felt their price was exceedingly fair. They don’t do kitchen remodels, but if you have a mold remediation issue, these are the people to call (in my opinion) - I would definitely use them again (although I hope I don’t have to).

I'm usually skeptical when I see all 5-star reviews but PNW Mold Control truly deserves it. Throughout the whole process they were professional and did a great job keeping me in the loop, making sure I understood every step of the process. They explained what the root cause of the mold was and connected me with a roofing company to address it. They replaced my attic insulation and baffles, cleaned my entire attic, sealed all cracks, and replaced my bathroom vent. They went the extra mile to leave my home in great shape by protecting floors and corners before beginning any work, and even cleaned the floors and walls after they finished. They finished the project ahead of schedule. To top it off, they provide a fantastic warranty on their service. I would highly recommend this company to anyone, and will definitely be using them again in the future should the need arise. For my attic, I doubt it will.

His inspection was thorough, informative, and he explained the next steps for us very clearly. Eric, Sam, and Junior completed the treatment on our home. Eric was great at explaining their findings thoroughly while also communicating the information at a level I could easily understand. Sam and Junior kept the treated areas well contained and kept me informed with every step of the process. They also did a wonderful job of respecting the space and cleaning up after the treatment was complete.
