Changing review. It all started out good. Until: After installation I noticed a gap w sunlight coming in (larger than a quarter at the top of the door.). I appreciated that they sent someone to fix it; as they should have done. I paid extra to insulate roof walls and floor and the gap in the door was counterproductive. I think point of sale would have been the time to tell me there was a gap….especially when I was spending much more $ to get everything insulated. The fix took care of the gap yet it created a bigger problem. At this point I am physically unable to open the door by myself. After pulling it open about 1/8 inch, (which I cannot do without extreme pain because it requires a lot of force), I need a claw hammer to pry it open. Not only is this causing damage to the paint on both doors , because I have a slipped disc in my back which gets very “angry” when I use that pulling motion (it is extremely painful). . This excruciating move sets my healing progress back. Note. The Drs want to put a rod in my back and I am trying to avoid that with pt and yoga which is why I bought the shed in the first place. So now just trying to get the door open is counterproductive, and it inhibits my efforts to avoid back surgery. Where we stand Lyndon did offer to come and put the door back to how it was before the repair ro make it “factory” I responded I don’t think that factory is possible because with the “repair” the guy ground one door in random spots trying to accommodate the extra piece he put on. I asked Lyndon in please keep an open mind and possibly look at other options if indeed that grinding will leave more gaps. And that we could discuss as reasonable adults when he came here——because the door is a bit butchered now. How is it possible to know what’s best, without looking at it first? Why the repair guy didn’t grind the extra piece he put on instead of the door is beyond me. ) I. Understand it is a long drive for summit structures to come. Thus after receiving no response that text, I spoke with a neighbor who said he’d fix it for $150.00. I cannot afford that—-nor should I have to. I already went way over budget with spending $17k for this shed. I am a senior citizen recently disabled and i can no longer work. I offered to sign a waiver for the doors if Summit Structures would pay my neighbor to fix it. No response, no respect. So my objective with building a room for pt and yoga to provide for my healing efforts is now bringing more pain than value. Pluse: I paid extra for anchors. They are rusting after only a couple months. So they likely won’t last and I feel that was a waste of money as well. Another subject. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND !

My wife & I have now purchased 2 storage sheds from Summit Structures. The first shed was a no brainer because it was only a 10x16. It was buy, deliver & drop . No permit required!However, Our second purchase was a different story.We needed a larger storage area so we went with a bit larger shed knowing that permits “may” be required.Initially we thought (since it was a pre-built) it would simplify the permit process. Go into your project knowing that Summit Structures will help walk you thru the process but first check with your county’s building department for code requirements ! We had a great time working with Garret at Summit Structures and we absolutely love our new building. There were some delivery glitches but Elmer was amazing and the kindest soul. One door was built incorrectly but they have reached out to fix the mistake. Highly recommended! Our new building will be a mobile tavern- Cork and Caravan. Cheers!

Such an easy experience! From my first point of contact, every question and call were answered! Garrett was truly amazing!
