When Mali joined the team I though "Man, I think she actually gives a darn." Which is certainly the case to this day. She's very good at listening to people, learning their concerns or actual problems by asking great question. She's works hard to learn as much as she can about your operation, needs and wants to ensure they can meet them and create a proper maintenance plan which includes a personal touch that Mali has. When we've reached out with a problem or an ask. She's either sorted it out quickly or connected us to the proper team member, like Jeremey Bogner, to get it done. If you need a commercial HVAC contractor, Mali is the first person I will reach out.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Update on April 15th, 2020.We have been a full year into renovations of our property. One of the items that was required was our furnace. It actually broke down right on the last cold spell of 2020. Luckily it was not too uncomfortable. Jeremy of Soul came out right away to take a look and advised me the the furnace was on its last legs.Jeremy listened to my plans and questions and answered them with fantastic information and examples. He provided many options for us that he knew would work for us. He provided a quality furnace and we ended replacing our hot water tank with a on demand water heater.Jeremy also eventually completed gas work, installed a garage heater, required and key to upcoming projects, and completed a emergency repair for our rental.What I liked most is that his employees where training each other so they could grow and be better technicians and make their clients happy with their investment.Keep up the great work Jeremy and Team.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Heating and ventilation are often overlooked until it’s minus 40 and your furnace will not run.Renovations around HVAC and plumbing are challenging. We contracted Soul Mechanical to upgrade our 34 furnaces and hot water tanks in 2021. Being a Housing Cooperative and not-for-profit, we value the “small town/family” working relationship that Soul Mechanical provided and continues to provide. The team is phenomenal and I think that we have tested them all! Our Coop is comprised of members from all ages and stages of life and is very culturally diverse. When needed, the Team took the time to explain what they were doing, and to sit with the kids (and there are many) and seniors to answer their questions in ways that they could understand. Without a doubt, the best mechanical contractor I've ever worked with. My installations were atypical but not hard and absolutely required people who were willing to think outside the box a little to achieve the design's goals. The Team at Soul helped to replace an existing floor-mount boiler with a high efficiency wall mount one, relocate the city's water meter, remove the hot water tank and tie the new boiler into a capacity tank, installed a valve manifold to gain a few extra hot water zones, relocated and installed new two high velocity fan coils (one in new basement mechanical room and one in 2nd flr laundry room), replaced the ducting throughout home, installed in-slab hydronic heating in the basement and tied the hot tub to a heat exchanger off the boiler so it can be heated via natural gas rather than electricity. That last one worked so well that we'll probably also use it to heat the 15,000 gallon above ground pool next year.All of these projects took about 3 years to complete so I had the opportunity to work with the company's owners as well as many of their staff. From the top to the bottom of Soul's organization, their culture is one of collaboration, support and providing a quality product that satisfies the customer. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any of your mechanical needs.

About two weeks ago our sump pump stopped working at the worst possible time during spring melt. Water started spilling into the furnace room and we had very little time to react.
