JDavis was recommended to me by my realtor as I was purchasing my new condo, as I wanted to get my kitchen cupboards repainted. Jeff came in, assessed the space, and provided me a quote on the spot (which I very happily accepted).Kobe, the crew lead on the job, was a consummate professional. He stayed in touch with me throughout - the van was iced in on the day that they came to take the cupboard fronts off, but Kobe texted me regularly to let me know the updated time of arrival.Throughout the job, I knew exactly what the status was - I received a photo update at the end of each work day, letting me know what had been done that day, and what was on deck for the next day.They came back in on Friday morning to put the cabinet/drawer faces back on and paint the edges and gables of the cupboards, and to re-install the hardware. They left the kitchen pristine, the cupboards look fantastic, and everyone I've shown them to has been super impressed.Thank you, JDavis team, for a fantastic job, and I will be recommending you to everyone I know who needs painting work done, especially cupboard painting!

We hired JDavis to paint a bunch of rooms and trim before a move. From start to finish, everyone involved was extremely thoughtful, available, very good at their job, and easy to work with. The house looks fantastic, the painters' attention to detail was exceptional, and the whole process couldn't have been smoother. We'll hire JDavis again without hesitation for our next job.Jeff the owner walked us through a thoughtful questionnaire to make sure the project would meet our needs, not only in terms of quality but also all the intangibles, such as communication styles and preferences, or how involved we wanted to be in the day-to-day progress. He walked through the house and drew up a thorough and fair estimate, noting that it may go up a bit if we chose very dark colours requiring multiple quotes (which we did).All the project scoping, progress reports, and payments are handled electronically, every decision is written down, and the painters doing the job have easy access to all that information. We walked through the house with the painters before they started to answer any remaining questions, and texted us photos and questions a handful of times when unexpected situations came up that needed our input. JDavis makes very effective and judicious use of modern tech, and it made a big difference in terms of efficiency and peace of mind--no phone tag and no ambiguity.Everything was done on time and to spec, and they left the house even cleaner than I expected given the repairs and sanding they had to make.Special shout out to the crew assigned to our job: Brian, Jeremy, Noah, Jerry, and Maria; Joanna in their admin/billing department; and Jeff for running a tight ship with painters who seem delighted to work for JDavis, based on conversations I overheard :)100% recommended with no reservations, based on this initial experience.

All around great service. I received great communication and recommendations from the owner. The painters did a great job no roller marks and no mess left behind . My condo was completely done in two days.
