He performed a thorough examination and cleaning of my teeth and confirmed that I did not need the procedures that were presented to me by the other dentist. I had an implant procedure done with Dr.Colella and i was very pleased and surprised at how painless the entire surgery was! I did not feel a single thing which was a huge relief because I was expecting to be in slight discomfort from the implant. I had to have a full lower denture done. I have Sjogrens Syndrome, so my salivary glands don't work, and it caused severe dental issues, constant abscesses. Dr Marco and his team helped make a plan, helped me with financing, and now I have not only a beautiful denture, but implants that keep it secure. The best decision I made was coming to see Dr. Colella! His office is over an hour drive for me, but the time is worth it for so many reasons. First, his staff are wonderful. I recently had a tooth pulled and followed up by a tooth implant, all in the same day. I was really dreading both procedures. I had been putting this off due to fear of pain and anxieties. And to make matters worse, our dentist of 30 years retired and a new dentist took over his practice. Both of my previous tooth implants were done by a local specialist. Doctor Colella was able to do all required procedures at his office in just one sitting. He pulled the tooth, made the bone graft, performed the implant, installed a healing cap and will do the permanent crown three months from now. By using the latest advances in implant technology, he did not have to drill into the jawbone.Doctor Colella took over the practice that Doctor Koechley and his wife Kim had for more than 30 years. Prior to scheduling the procedure, Marco called me on the phone and talked to me for over 20 minutes. He addressed all my concerns and questions. For various medical reasons I could no longer take medications like Ativan as was done in the past. He suggested nitrous oxide as an alternative. He even offered to have me come in prior to the actual date to give the nitrous a trial run. I did just that and as a result I scheduled the procedure. The big day finally came and went. The two procedures took about two hours to complete. And guess what, it was completely pain free and I was very relaxed. In fact you could say that it was a very pleasant experience.Doctor Colella and his entire staff are professional, friendly and caring. They really do care about you as a person, not just a patient.
