I joined Done Done in May 2022. I had been an avid home workout fanatic for years (since 2010!!) and would scatter in yoga, Pilates, and running.
I was regularly being asked by my home workout “coach” to consider the opportunity of selling their brand of workouts and supplements. I had a lot of success when i did their workout programs, but something about selling the online workouts and posting it all on my socials in a pre-programmed and predictable way just felt inauthentic. I honestly thought about it a lot, and went back and forth. I had this desire to work in health and wellness, and help people on their wellness journeys but didn’t feel like that was the right path for me. I wanted to be with people in person, help them face to face, and find a true fitness community! (I work from home, and am a busy mom to three rambunctious kids, and desperately needed some people time that wasn’t surrounding kid activities!). So, I decided that if I wanted to walk the walk, and talk the talk, I had to join a gym and work with a trainer and wellness coaches.
I found Done Done online and immediately felt drawn in. I loved the sense of accomplishment that just radiated from each and every person in their social media.
When I joined, I was quickly welcomed in and was made to feel at home. I shared my goals with Missy and she told me that every trainer she has now was a client first and if that was one of my goals she would help me achieve it. From there, I was hooked!
Even though I started from a good fitness level I could never level up! In the last 9 months my changes have been significant; I am lifting heavier than ever, running faster, and recovering faster. I’m competing in Deka events and spartan/savage races, and reclaimed a piece of my identify that is JUST FOR ME. And, I even started interning at the gym a few months ago working towards my professional goals.
It’s a place where you can find, or re-find, yourself, improve, succeed, all while being surrounded by some pretty great humans. Yes, you will build strength, you might lose weight if that is a goal of yours. But no matter what your fitness goals are, you will find inner strength and sense of belonging at Done Done!! 💪🏻💚
