Lloyd installed two ceiling fans at my place and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I have low ceilings so the fans he recommended were perfect for my ceiling height. They look great.He showed up exactly on time, was easy to deal with, he explained how he was going to do the wiring just to make sure I was happy with where the remotes were going to go, installation was super neat and everything works perfectly. We asked QConnect to source and install a 7.1kw air conditioner in our apartment and they did a fantastic job.Our apartment building is a bit older so it is all cement and brick, which made the job a lot more difficult than usual. However, Lloyd made it work amazingly.He was a great communicator. He really knew what he was doing and made it all look really good.Couldn't recommend him enough!

In mid July the electrical work for my external roller blinds was installed by Lloyd Gossow from QConnect Electrical. I cannot speak too highly of the result. It certainly exceeded my expectations and I would rate it 11 out of 10!Lloyd's fitting of the electrical conduit was precise, neat, clean and far superior to others I have seen. There are no unsightly joins, and runners are all neatly and discretely located to the extent that they are practically invisible.Lloyd also has a personable and polite nature and he was a delight to work with. He accommodated me by predelivering the conduit so I had time to prepaint it, saving me time and expense. Our 60-year-old home was literally transformed by upgrading the electricity supply and installing four split system air-conditioners. QConnect Electrical Pty Ltd provided these in response to competing quotations. Lloyd followed up well at discussion, and they looked more flexible than larger respondents.After accepting, I could see some detailed improvement to the scope. On a ‘gentleman’s handshake’ we agreed to interact with amendments, trusting each other’s honesty – this was borne out on completion.Unfortunate barriers occurred during that time with the sudden unavailability of a qualified assistant, a spate of consecutive rainy days. and a time limit needed for completion to qualify for a government rebate.Lloyd took on working outdoors through a day of terrible weather to complete the electrics and then extended time to commission the air conditioning. Despite these, the amendments were included within a good price, on time for the rebate, and also one day before a planned birthday party on a very hot Brisbane day!Good house appearance was kept by smart conduit routing and placement of power boxes. An elegant unit replaces the old switch board in the existing enclosure.The result has added to the house value. It now has good air conditioning and a modern electricity supply that removes the liability of having old non-compliant electrics.I felt QConnect Electrical to be good at honesty, timeliness, routing / placement to minimise impact, and more flexible and enthusiastic than larger firms. They're a very good service provider. I’m pleased I invited them to quote.
