We recently selected D&J The pool resurfacers to refinish our 30 year old pool. We had several companies provide estimates, and we decided on D&J based on cost and reviews. We signed the contract on 4/28/25. The work began 3 days later. First day, they drained the pool, removed all tile and prepped the interior for the next step. At the end of this day, everything was cleaned up and we were schedule for the next step. The second day, new tile was installed and grouted in. Again, everything was thoroughly cleaned up and we were scheduled for day 3. The third day, a large crew showed up, and completely installed the new Pebble Sheen finish to the pool interior. It was a full days work, but the pool looked great. Again, the cleanup was thorough. The next morning the final crew showed up and acid washed the entire pool, detailing the tile, glass, pool surface, and deck. All Jets were replaced and the drain covers installed. From day 1 until the completion, a total of 6 days. The pool is still being filled, but it looks great. The entire process was made easier for us because everything was explained and schedules were kept. We are looking forward to using the pool area this summer and expecting to get many good years out of the new finish. We highly recommend D&J, and if ever needed, we will use them again.

If you have any kind of project that these guys say they can do, look no further! Unlike my prior experiences with other companies, working with Mauro, Ninoska, and the rest of their team has been an absolute pleasure. If I had to call out the most important factor for me, it would be communication. Mauro and Ninoska always responded to my questions, calls, concerns, and I never once felt ignored. The team that came and did the work were very pleasant, accommodating, and professional.They definitely have me as a customer for life, and I will engage them in future projects without hesitation.(They even accommodated my wife's two tone deck request, which turned out pretty nicely! Another great showcase of their craftsmanship!)

So this may be a lengthy post so hang in there with me because D&J earned this review. I’m going to break down my experience in phases to hopefully talk about some things that may concern people looking to do a resurface. Let’s start with the obvious, this is no cheap job and likely a 20+ year decision. The amount of options are endless and to be truthful, a bit overwhelming. D&J was my third quote and not the cheapest but their customer interaction and service made it the right choice for me.The quote: Mauro arrived to my home on time and was very attentive to all my concerns. He gave me realistic expectations about what I wanted which I can definitely appreciate. He didn’t advise me on anything that he couldn’t deliver and honestly there was nothing that they couldn’t deliver. I felt comfortable from day one.The selection: I arrived to their show room where I met their awesome project manager, Ninoska. She listened to all my wants, concerns and help me narrow down my tile and plaster selection. She was patient, kind and ensured I was 100% comfortable with my choice. Even if it took me forever lol.The contract: all quotes were emailed, along with warranties and breakdown of payments. They started my job in less than one week from signing the contract and sending my initial deposit.The work: I was impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail the whole crew placed on my pool. They arrived early and worked until daylight was almost gone. Even then, they managed to keep my pool deck clean within reason as this is no clean job. The crew was respectful and attentive.The fill and start up: I ended up changing out all of my pool equipment as well and the crew came out to ensure all took place flawlessly.Was it all perfect, no but what is? We ran through some hiccups but my project manager was there every step of the way. Called every day, and responded immediately to any concerns. That in itself makes this company a step above the rest and deserving of this rating. All said and done, I have a 20 year old pool that looks brand new in less than two weeks with continuous support fromD&J to this day. They are not about the money, they truly are building community. Shout out to Ninoska, Mauro, Fabio, and Edwin. Thank you for everything.Please don’t hesitate to give them a call, you won’t regret it.
