Matthew Ryan Consulting is a fantastic resource for new private practice owners. My husband and I opened a private practice one year ago, he is a mental health counselor and I manage the insurance billing, revenue cycle, and general administration/client support. I had no prior experience with insurance billing, and I was utilizing the consultation group on a daily basis as I learned how to submit claims and manage revenue. Working with insurance companies can be incredibly challenging at times and I could not have done it without this resource. I highly recommend!

I stumbled upon Matt’s YouTube videos early on when starting my private practice, and I’ve been following him for about a year now. In my opinion, his content is some of the best out there—no gimmicks, no gatekeeping. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping clinicians establish and grow their practices.I’ve also been part of his consultation community for several months, and it’s been invaluable. It’s a space dedicated to practice growth, with a supportive group of like-minded professionals—unlike some of the more general Facebook groups I’ve joined. If you’re starting a practice or looking to grow, I highly recommend following him on YouTube at the very least!

Matthew Ryan is a wonderful private practice coach and consultant. I sought out his expertise last year after seeing some of his videos on YouTube. He is just as friendly and knowledgeable in person as he is on his social media. He pays close attention, offers constructive advice, follows up with written summaries and feedback, and makes himself available for questions and follow up. I did a series of six sessions with him over the course of one year and received both moral support and useful strategies to help me progress in my professional goals. I can't recommend him highly enough!
