This was a referral from my mom's plumber. I called Billy, the owner, at Springs and Things Garage Door Service at 11am on Thursday, July 16, to ask if he could come take a look at my elderly mother's garage door because it was not opening, motor just buzzing. He was able to come over by noon. He said the garage door motor and other parts needed to be replaced. Said motor was a 1996 model. Had a good run LOL. So he had the parts with him and took about 2 hours to replace everything. Garage door works like a charm. He even gave my mom a $50 senior discount. Our garage door motor broke, so I asked my friend if they could recommend anyone for garage door repairs/replacement. My friend recommended Billy and I was very happy she did! Billy was prompt in getting back to us, set an appointment for the next day and arrived exactly within the time frame he said he would. He looked over our garage door and within minutes got to work. He knew exactly what to do to address the problem - a broken cable. After replacing the broken and worn out cables, he also inspected all the moving parts, adjusted and lubricated all of them, and performed final tests to ensure everything was working properly. And he cleaned up after himself. Great job!!! And all that for a great price. We highly recommend Springs and Things if you need help with your garage door.
