I received my first knee PRP injections with Dr. Camhi and ended up having three total since I had previously gotten PRP through Kaiser. The kaiser waitlist was ridiculous! Thankfully Dr. Kami was able to see me. Even though it was over a two and a half hour drive, it was absolutely worth it.The experience was wonderful and I hardly felt any pain at all. The staff was incredibly kind and Dr. Camhi made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. I highly recommend.

Saw an ad for Katakyst offering a promotion for PRP- a simple process where a few vials of blood are extracted and the platelets separated and reinfected into inflamed sites. I participated in the Stanford clinical trial for PRP years ago with tennis elbow. I’d had it for over a year and could hardly lift my arm. It takes about two weeks for full impact as by injecting the platelets into an area with limited blood flow stimulates healing and inflammation reduction. Day 16 and my pain was gone.The FDA approved it and a few years later I had it in my other arm in the inside “golfers” elbow. The doctor doing the trial was kind enough to treat it and again full recovery.I have osteoarthritis in my right knee-bone in bone- and am pushing off replacement so for the $599 offer I thought I’d try the PRP. I called and got a next day appointment which was simple and fast-blood draw-process the separation of platelets and then a shot in the knee. Totally painless.It has helped! Then my plantar fasciitis got much worse and I was in pain and limping so I read about PRP and it said it helps some people. So I had the PRP in my foot and within 2 weeks (after 6 months of pain) it was almost gone.While I was waiting for the platelets to be separated, I read their report in bioidentical hormone replacement. I have had hypothyroidism for decades and taken levoxil but still have low thyroid symptoms-especially post menopausal weight gain. I did a consultation and decided to try the t3/ t4 bioidentical drug instead of my levoxil. Will see in a month or so how I feel and what my labs show. I also have struggled with to keep with HRT or not so they gave me options and advice that I felt were better than my Kaiser doctors.Because I have Kaiser Medicare it would be harder to get through their system for the PRP so I was happy to pay.

Dr Seth was extremely helpful and got me pointed in the right direction. I also have been jumping on the Jeavue train for those important events where making a first impression is crucial.
