They dont let you look in the mirror, after requesting a mid fade (look at the picture) this was the outcome. Then telling me i should have said a DROP MID FADE. If I would have been able to look in the mirror, I would have stopped him from stupid mistakes

The Spot Barbershop has always been one of the few places where I felt comfortable going, and the quality of service has consistently been good. However, the new appointment system through Vagaro is a serious problem.Charging customers the full price of a service 72 hours before the appointment is excessive and unfair. I fully support policies that protect employees’ time and reduce last-minute cancellations — that makes sense. But taking full payment days before the service is even provided crosses the line and puts unnecessary control over customers’ personal finances.This is the first time I’ve encountered a policy like this, and it completely changes the customer experience. An appointment should reserve time, not lock a customer into an early financial charge as if the service has already happened.While customer service explained that this policy protects barbers’ schedules, there must be a balanced solution that respects both employees and customers. Loyalty and trust go both ways, and policies like this risk driving customers away.The Spot Barbershop offers great service, but this payment policy needs to be reconsidered.

Over the last year and a half, the quality at this barbershop has steadily declined.Prices have gone up, but the experience has gone down. Amenities that once added value, like quality liquor, were replaced with cheap in-house options while prices continued to rise.The biggest issue is the new membership and app changes. The membership doesn’t offer real value, and canceling it feels intentionally difficult. The app tells you to contact the store, the store tells you to contact customer service, and customer service never responds by phone or email. It’s a frustrating loop that effectively prevents cancellation.The app redesign itself is also a downgrade unintuitive, clunky, and worse than before.It’s disappointing because this used to be a place I genuinely liked and recommended. Unfortunately, between the price hikes, reduced quality, and questionable membership practices, I won’t be returning.

I’ve been a loyal customer of this barbershop since the Miami Lakes location first opened, and it’s honestly disappointing to write this. When I first started coming here, the shop was excellent. The atmosphere was great, barbers were happy to be there, and the experience felt premium—free Coca-Cola products, name-brand liquor, and a team that genuinely enjoyed their work.Over time, unfortunately, I’ve watched the shop steadily decline. First, the complimentary drinks were taken away, then brought back at an extra cost. The name-brand liquor was replaced with lower-quality brands, yet the price of haircuts stayed the same. The overall experience no longer matches what customers are paying for.What’s more concerning is the impact on the barbers. The barbers who were once excited and proud to work here now seem unhappy due to company changes that affect both staff and clients. I’ve had two incredible barbers over the years—one left, and just a few months later, the other did as well. That says a lot.I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but after witnessing such a clear drop in quality and morale, I feel it’s important to be honest. This place used to be great, and I truly hope management takes steps to bring it back to the level it once was—for the sake of both the clients and the barbers.
