I got the most expensive package and paid $309 for a mobile grooming service for two 10 yr old dogs, plus tge $20 tip. The good - Kelsey was a little late but sent me a heads-up text, much appreciated. She was really nice and my babies were so happy once they had clean bodies. They gave kisses and wagging tail wiggle walks and the whole bit. The service was fast and convenient and their cuts are decent. One pup had knots on his belly and they're gone now, so that's good. The bad - I asked for toe pads cleaned between, she agreed said it was included in the pkg, it didn't happen. She said the pkg also included ear cleaning and glan expression also. This was understood and why I chose the package. Here we are a few hours later and both pups have sticky ears with wax and debris, and I have to clean them myself. These are the q-tips and tissues from cleaning one pups ears. I still have the other one to do. Also, the cut on one dog is choppy and Ill have to go over it. I think the $300 is more for the convenience of a mobile groom. The pups were super happy though and not traumatized like other experiences. If I did it again, Id going with the most basic service package. The extras are not worth it. I wouldn't be surprised if I need to express the glands myself after paying for them. Not worth $329.UPDATE: As the days went by the pup with the choppy cut looked worse and worse and he was dragging the outside inside bcz the toe pads were full of fur. The ears were dirty, face was lopsided, fur hanging in his eyes.....I mean....ugh. I paid so much. I got more annoyed with this as a to-do on my already long list with limited time. Kelsey came back withing 24 hrs of my request, saw the issues, and made it right. I'm much happier and appreciate the effort to make correction. We all make mistakes. Recovery is everything.
