Big thanks to Ate Gigi for helping me finally pass my road test on my third attempt! This was my second road test under this school. For her I can honestly say her patience, attention to detail, and teaching style made a huge difference. After almost a decade of driving, I had a lot of habits to correct, but she never gave up on me and always made sure I understood what I was doing wrong.What makes Ate Gigi stand out is that she doesn’t just tell you what to do—she explains why you need to do it. She notices the small details that can easily be missed and really takes the time to make sure you become a safer and more confident driver, not just someone who can pass the test. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students and takes pride in helping them succeed.I highly recommend Ate Gigi to anyone looking for a patient, knowledgeable, and dedicated driving instructor. The instructor is very good,she is strict but she teaches us so well.I learned a lot from her about defensive driving. She is very patient, explains everything very well and she teaches driving techniques that makes it easier to do. She is very helpful and so everyhing she could to help her student pass. I’ve taken lessons with other driving schools before, but there’s truly no one like her. She goes above and beyond, constantly emphasizing safe driving and paying attention to every little detail. Her dedication really stands out. On top of that, she’s the owner, which makes her commitment even more impressive. Absolutely amazing—highly recommended!

Gigi is an incredible teacher - I’m a really anxious driver, I have my license but needed to practice how to drive before a trip and my husband was already taking beginning driving lessons from her, but she offered lessons for highway driving as well in 90 min increments.Some highlights:- We drove through so many of the different highways around Queens/Long Island (the LIE, GCP, Whitestone, Van Wyck among others). We didn’t waste a lot of time before doing so either, I felt as though my level and needs (including my time frame) were well accommodated- She also reviewed some basic driving skills that I lost (correcting my wide turns) and even practiced with me in the early evening/the rain - She is such a professional teacher. Very direct when a situation is unsafe, with clear explanations of what happened in the moment, but also warm and caring in her teaching style. Having gone to other driving instructors in the past, the hardest way to learn for me is when I’m told I’ve done something wrong 5 min later, or when the instruction itself just feels harsh my own hypercritical self feels like giving up. Gigi is not that. Her own focus, groundedness and calmness affects you in a quiet and good way.- The rates are more than fair, taking into account how crazy it is on the highways here, incl potholes, trucks, hazards (construction, the sudden unanticipated reckless driver), let alone how good the instructor is and the improvement I experienced myselfAlso an aside for anyone considering this, I thought I’d be stuck in traffic most of the time but it was decently okay in then early evening (5-7pm period) and weekend afternoon, though mornings would probably be better. It felt very productive.I’d recommend Hybrid Driving School to anyone!

I can’t thank Gigi enough! I actually failed before at another driving school because I was only taught how to drive, not how to pass the test. This time around, she really focused on helping me understand the techniques I needed to pass. The rest was on me to apply what I learned — and it took some time, focus, and effort — but I finally did it!I truly appreciate her patience, guidance, and the way she broke everything down so clearly. She gave me the confidence and skills I needed to succeed. Thanks to her, I’m officially a driver now!
