Jack (6yo) loves his piano lessons with George. He says he loves the funky bits the best and loves that George does the really funky songs with him. He gets cool ideas from him. I have group keyboard lessons with Vicky, she is an incredibly good teacher, she explains everything in a way we understand and teaches us things step by step. She teaches us the ideas behind what we are playing, not just what to play an when. She helps out creativity and she has made me look at other music in general. I have 1:1 piano lessons with Baiba and they are excellent. I have only been taught by her for about a month after Diana left, but I already feel that her teaching is excellent. The Music Works - what a lovely bunch of people. Kyle as a guitar teacher has opened a door to an instrument that had been a thing of wonder and mystery to me from the moment I bought my first 7" single in the 1970s. His patience and good humour have made the learning all that more rewarding, blending broad insight with the finer detail and a firm and fair appraisal of when you haven't practised enough! Punctual, accommodating, professional and understanding and all of that continued on zoom through the lockdowns. Just wanted to say you have all been great during the Lockdown. It is really helpful to have the weekly lessons and YouTube Live sessions with John. Our son usually has his lessons with John during school time and so we have not had the opportunity to meet him. His weekly video lessons and live sessions have allowed us to virtually meet him and have been really helpful to us as parents too. They have enabled us to be much more involved and encouraging than previously as we know a lot more about what our son is learning and what he should be practising each week. Keep up the great work!
