I got connected with Sertell Chiropractic after they did posture screenings at Ohio Caverns. My oldest son had been born a few months prior, so I knew I could use it. In late March of 2020, I injured myself at work and sustained 4 rib fractures and intercostal neuralgia. For 2 years I had been under the care of multiple specialists including pain management. I had to endure multiple nerve blocking attempts and even a painful chest ablation to help try to relieve my nerve pain, but nothing suggested to me by my chest specialist was working. Before my injury I was visiting my local chiropractor monthly to help keep my body healthy, because lifting weights of up to 50 pounds or more daily, forty hours a week was hard on my body and stretching was just not enough to relieve the soreness, stress, and pain my job caused my body. Long story short, I recently decided to find a new chiropractor after moving to Urbana this past December. I had basically tried everything recommended to me except the care of a chiropractor and not even a month has gone by and I am now experiencing ZERO nerve pain!! I had tried physical therapy, arthritis medication, and pain medication with symptoms only getting worse and progressing into my arms, legs, neck and jaw.
