My problem started in my right leg from my heel to the back of my thigh and up the front of my shin. I hobbled around with pain everyday and a lot of nights i would wake through the night in pain. Getting out of bed in the morning was getting harder and harder. Nothing that i was trying was giving enough pain relief. Stubborn as I am I kept thinking it would get better, but no. My husband suggested a chiropractic visit, boy am i glad i took his advice. My first visit, some x-rays, scans and flexibility tests gave the Doctor enough information to know what kind of treatments i needed. She explained everything so that this old lady could understand what needed to happen and what to expect. The receptionist was able to set up the appointments in a time frame that worked best for me and helped me set up and understand the payment methods that i am comfortable with. Yes they use my medical insurance, I just pay deductible. All of the staff has been very helpful in answering my questions or chasing down an answer in a timely manner. One day we had a family emergency and i could not make my appointment. I called to let them know I would not be in and why, they were able to work me in the next morning, WOW. Needless to say I am very pleased with the care and patience that this office has shown me in this last 4 weeks. I can now walk without pain everyday, my sleep is so much better, I can go up and down the stairs without going, one step one foot, one step one foot. I have been seeing Dr Sertell for my long term chiropractic care for a few years now. I have chronic lower back and hip pain, and I feel relief each time I get an adjustment. I brought my son to her, and she gave him relief even with his many disabilities. She is always kind and truly wants to help!
