My wife, my daughter and I hired Empirical Construction after interviewing several contractors in the Denver area. I am a stickler for reading each and every review I can find. From the moment we met Josh we were impressed with the way he “got” what we were trying to accomplish with the project. He came up with creative solutions to the problems we presented to him. One challenge was that we would be out of town for the bulk of the renovations and we needed someone who could do the work and not need too much hand holding from us. We also wanted to work with a designer to help with the overall look of the project and needed a contractor who could work with our designer. We awarded the contract to Empirical and we were thrilled with the results. Our project entailed a complete bathroom and kitchen remodel, hardwood flooring installation and refinishing. Because the house was built in the 1950’s the plumbing and electrical also required extensive upgrades. Empirical did everything by the book and pulled permits and helped us contract for testing for lead. By the book often means more money and time but it also means having a job done right. Empirical did our job right. Chuck was our project manager and he did an outstanding job working with us. He checked in with us weekly to do a video call to update us. Chuck is a problem solver and he was very easy to work with. He is first rate and I think Empirical is lucky to have him working for them.
