My wife and I started with North River Home Care back in 2017, and our caregiver Kathy quickly became part of the family. When my wife moved to Memory Care, I kept home care services as much for companionship as help with daily tasks. I've been a client ever since.Visits from Kathy and our Care Advisor, Jen Davis, are something I genuinely look forward to. They are all wonderfully in tune with my needs, and with others here at Linden Ponds too. That personal touch makes all the difference.When Kathy recently went on medical leave, North River stepped right up with an excellent replacement with no drop in quality whatsoever. It's clear they set a very high bar when it comes to hiring. Their caregivers are skilled, well-trained, and you can tell they actually enjoy what they do.North River Home Care is, without question, top notch.

My 94 year old mother returned to her apartment in September 2024 after a fall and time in the hospital and in rehabilitation.    North River Home Care was recommended to us by a person we trusted.  Our experience with North River was excellent from start to finish.  Management was highly responsive, from our first call, and constantly monitored my mother's care.  The aides who were with my mother were all caring, and did a terrific job helping my mother maintain her dignity while assisting with necessary details of life.  My mother responded to this support and gradually grew stronger.  With time we were able to slowly reduce aides services from 24 hours daily to the point that no further assistance was required.  Over a month has passed since then and my mother continues to do very well.  This recovery was in great part the fruit of the caring help and gentle assistance North River provided to her, bringing her back to pretty much as she was and once again walking long distances (no not running but she never did).  .  We are all extremely happy with the support she received from North River for which we remain most grateful.

After our father had experienced multiple hospital stays, we wanted to avoid another rehab facility. We decided to move him back into his assisted living community with a 24hr caregiver. Jen Davis was compassionate and easy to work with. The caregivers were all wonderful, especially Cheryl and Dourina. We used NRHC for 3 weeks and highly recommend this team to other families looking for 24hr care.

North River’s caregivers provided comfort to my father and my family when we really needed it. They emphasized with us and gave us our privacy when we needed it. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs help caring for an elderly patient.

The North River Team was excellent while dealing with my parents care. Our Care Advisor Mia met with us and went over all they can do and gave me frequent updates. The home aids were wonderful in dealing with my mother who can be difficult and helped my Dad run errands as well as with hygiene and self-care. When the time comes for more help with my parents home care we will definitely be contacting North River Home Care.

We had a wonderful experience with the team at North River. They were very professional, helpful and responsive. We were in great hands and would highly recommend their services. We used them after a rehab stay as we transitioned back home.

Our family is grateful to the staff at North River Home Care. We began working with the team in 2013 after our Dad suffered several strokes. The Hime health care team delivered excellent care as they worked with him to regain his strength. After my Dad dies we continued to work with North River. The staff suppprted my mother who had mobility and cardiac issues along with dementia. My mother was able to remain in an independent setting until 2022 thanks to the efforts of the in home care.In 2022, my mother moved to a nursing home. Our family decided to keep one of the North River Home Care providers. Mum would say, “you know, I don’t need Tracy and I love Tracy”. Tracy gave my Mum her professional skills and her humanity. My mother experienced Tracy as a dear friend. Tracy gave my Mum quality of life right to the end.We are so grateful to Jen Davis, the staff at North River Home Care and most of all to Tracy. You all helped us navigate the challenges of caring for aging parents with expertise and care.
