I don’t even know where to begin, I had the most incredible experience with dr deot. I serendipitously met him at a grocery store and overheard him talking about fat grafting. After taking a few consultations with different doctors and not feeling comfortable with any, I felt like it was fate that I met him. He was incredibly patient with my 1 million questions and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. The results are absolutely incredible. I would pay so much more money for them than what he charges. I’ve already recommended him to a few friends and family, and I would recommend him to the whole world, everything from the service, communication, the whole staff at his facility and most importantly the results were absolutely beyond my expectations. Took me four years of weeding through the oversaturated SoCal market to finally find a doctor who matched my attention to detail and perfectionist nature. I’ve had fat grafting, Botox, lip filler, and CO2 laser with him, and I now fully & solely trust Dr. Deot with my face. His skill set, clear dedication to his patients, and genuine passion for his work really do show.Being a younger doctor gives him a clear edge when it comes to staying on top of newer techniques and being open to listening, rather than having the dismissive, “stuck in their ways” attitude I’ve come across with few other surgeons. Even tho he’s a bit far, I’ll endure the 1.5-hour trip on the dreadful 405 any day to see a doctor who is not only amazingly skilled, but also fun & chill, with an entire staff that’s unpretentious & friendly.

I had upper and lower blepharoplasty surgery with Dr. Neal Deot five weeks ago, and I’m honestly happy to share I’m THRILLED with the results! I had excess skin on my upper eyelid which caused my eyes to look tired, creased and less open. I also had developed excess skin and skin creases in my lower eyelids. It was really bothering me. I had consults with a few different doctors previously, I was especially concerned about the possibility of lower eyelid drooping or retraction after lower blepharoplasty. The medical term is called Ectropion btw. Other doctors acknowledged it was a risk/possibility but didn’t have much to say about how to avoid or prevent this from happening, or what they would do to correct it if it did happen after surgery.So I continued looking, and then I learned about Dr. Deot from my long-time aesthetic clinic, Skintight Aesthetics. He had recently started practicing there. I first had an appointment for filler with him and saw that he was meticulous, and he really listens to you! After a couple of blepharoplasty consults and lots of questions thoughtfully answered by him, I felt confident choosing Dr. Deot to perform the surgery at the clinic. Another VERY important factor for me what that he was able to perform my surgery under local anesthesia – because I was having what’s called a ‘skin pinch’ in the lower eyelids (no fat pad removal). I really wanted to avoid general anesthesia and am glad I did.I was awake but lightly sedated (Valium) and locally numbed during the roughly 90 minutes long procedure, Dr. Deot repeatedly asked me how I was doing/if I felt anything while he worked. The nurse assisting him was also excellent, on top of her game, and they had upbeat music playing in the background to keep the mood light. He is precise and meticulous; he did a thorough and perfect job in my opinion. Prior to surgery, he gave me detailed, written aftercare instructions, and recommended a professional scar removal serum to speed up fading of scars from the surgery. Dr. Deot has excellent bedside manner and really cares about his patients. I only wish I had done it sooner! If something about your facial skin/appearance is bothering you – don’t wait. Get a consultation from Dr. Deot.
