Darren turned up promptly, well prepared. The job was to repair our lead flashing under bedroom window. He took his time grinding the concrete out and cleaning the lead already there. Spent some time shaping the lead and then re pointing it all. Looks brand new. Very impressed. Other roofers told us we had to replace it all. Honesty and transparency isnallnibever want in a tradesman and yoinget that with Shelter Essex Roofing. Thankyou

I cannot thank Darren and his team enough for the outstanding workmanship and finish to our new roof. What started out as a small leak turned out to be a total nightmare! Darren quickly advised us of the damage to our entire roof due to foam insulation done prior to us buying the house. They are totally reliable and worked fast to get the job done and the finish is to a very high standard. We are so happy with our lovely new roof and the peace of mind that it will last for many years. If you are looking for a professional clean and tidy company then Darren and Shelter Roofing come highly recommended.

Darren at Essex Roofer carried out work on my conservatory roof in February 2026. I am very satisfied with the work carried out. I can recommend this company as I found them very professional, friendly reliable, happy and they did not let me down when it came to turning up on time. I called him the ‘Singing Roofer’ always happy.
