An absolute five star experience!I have been going to Cosmopolitan Dental for the past 3 years. I had been going mostly for tooth cleanings but I have had the occasional emergency. I always see Dr Lawrence.I just recently had a root canal and it was my first and I was very apprehensive and he talked me through everything and erased my fears.He has the most amazing assistant Raquel. She helps him set up everything and she is very compassionate and caring.It's not exactly fun going to the dentist but at least this team make it bearable. Every kind of dental work you have is explained in detail by Dr Lawrence. This has a calming effect on me because obviously like most people I am always nervous in the dental chair!The office is extremely clean and modern.When you come in your greeted by Marietta and Kathryn. They are always so helpful. Many times they have squeezed me in for an appointment when one did not exist because it was an emergency.This is a dental office that I 100% recommend.They are conveniently located in Bay ridge Brooklyn on 86th Street and 4th avenue. The office is accessible by many buses and trains.A truly positive experience. When I leave there my teeth are always shining and feel so good!! Less

The office is clean and that staff is amazing. I switched to Cosmopolitan Dental after my previous dentist stopped taking my insurance. I find the staff at Cosmopolitan is much more friendly, helpful and pleasant. My only regret is that I didn't start going to them sooner. Everyone here is fabulous and very attentive. Kathrine is very nice as well as Roquel. I was always very nervous and had built up anxiety over going to the dentist, however, Dr. Lawrence has made me feel comfortable being at his practice and i always left without having had any anxiety. I called after a crown I had put in by another dentist not even a year ago fell out. I was in pain and of course beside myself. The receptionist whose name I cannot remember, couldn't have been nicer. I got an appointment for that very day. When I got there, that receptionist was just as nice and friendly, the assistant that set me up made me feel comfortable, and Dr. Lawrence delivered the terrible news that I was expecting- that I needed a new crown. He was patient, he was kind, he was gentle, he took time to explain everything to me. I was literally in tears. The whole experience could have been the absolute worst but they made it as best as it could be. The crown is $1500. My insurance won't cover it because it's a crown on the same tooth that is not even a year old. I'm still going to try to see if the insurance company will remiemburse me for some of it. I do know that this office and it's members did everything they could for me. There are few times when we are just so volunerable, one of those times is any time at a doctor's office. I'm so glad my friend recommended them. I can not convey the care and time they spent making sure I was OK and explaining everything to me. I'm so thankful. I go back in a few weeks to get my new crown put in and I can't wait. I can already a difference between this temp and the work the other dentist did. I'll be making this office my new dental office. Magnificent. I came in with no appointment and a swollen face😢 the receptionist was kind & understanding and “squeezed” me in. The dental assistant kept me company and listened to all my concerns and worries and made me feel so safe and comfortable. I knew what was going to happen before the dentist even entered.
