Wonderful service. I came in wanting one tie for my dad’s birthday, but the associate who helped me was so wonderful I left with six. Now I have my Christmas and birthday shopping done for my brothers and dad. She was so sweet she kept offering me a nice beverage and taking in and helping with my every need. I will definitely be coming back, I did get her name but she was the best.

They had what we needed. It was quick and easy.

Went for wedding dress alterations because it was cheaper than some other places. The zipper on my dress was broken the first time I went in, and I had to go in 3 more times after to keep reminding them to fix the zipper. They also hemmed the front of my dress nearly 5 inches so it was up around my ankles. They issued me a full refund because it couldn’t be fixed in time for my wedding

I got my wedding tux from here and it was awesome! Fit perfectly, looked so good in the pictures. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for menswear needs.

I was pleasantly surprised at the large selection of clothing, ties, etc. for adults and kids. I took my grandson there to get some dress clothes. The staff was helpful and accommodating.

We went in for a scheduled fitting for my son,(which is VERY handy to have a scheduled time), and we ended up getting a suit for him and a suit for me. Kater Shop has really had a face lift over the last year. It's very convenient to schedule fittings and have a comfortable area reserved where those with me can sit comfortably while I try on suits. Not to mention having drinks to boot. It was a nice place before but the updates have made it an even nicer place to visit. Oh, and the suits and shirts are top notch too.

I visited Kater Shop in preparation for my wedding. The initial service was pretty decent, I was shown multiple suit options in the color choice my wife had selected for the wedding. The location did not have ties that matched what my fiance was looking for. The suits were much more expensive compared to some other options in town ($500 for two suits). I ended up splitting the cost with my younger brother who needed a suit as well. Come to find out, the tailoring was a separate charge not baked into the already high price. I arrived back to the store two weeks later to pick up the tailored clothing and the front desk almost gave my wife a heart attack as they suddenly couldn't find my suit (we were less than 5 days from the wedding). After going to the back and searching the computer, they found the suit. No worries the suit was there and ready to go right? I tried on the suit and made sure everything fit and stowed it away for our special day. On the day of the wedding the fly would not stay closed and instead opened everytime I sat down. The zipper opened at the seam so to fix the issue I had to carefully work it back down and up only to have it come apart once more. Not the most enjoyable experience as the center of attention in front of everyone. I still figured I'd give the Kater Shop the benefit of the doubt, so I brought the suit in after our honeymoon and explained the situation. They apologized and took the suit into the tailor. They were 3 weeks out on a zipper replacement. When I finally got the pants back, the stitching at the bottom of the zipper was not properly attached (see pictures below). I guess the tailor hadn't closed the stitching or something. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until I had left the store. I decided to provide a negative review because I specifically chose this location based upon the nearly 5 star reviews. I have had a poor experience from start to finish and will be taking my 280 dollar suit to another location to get it properly fixed. I am not familiar with other men's clothing stores in town but I would recommend avoiding this location if possible based upon my experience. Less

UPDATE: I rented a tux for my son's wedding. I picked it up the evening before we traveled over 150 miles to the wedding location. When I put it on at the hotel prior to going to the wedding, the sleeves were a full 3 inches too short. What was most frustrating is that when I tried on the jacket in the store, one sleeve was almost perfect, and the other was, you guessed it, 3 inches too short. If not for a kind and generous hotel clerk who gifted us a mini sewing kit, and for my wife who was able to do the alteration herself, I'd have been the laughing stock of the wedding. When I returned the tux I asked if I could get a discount for our troubles. The salesperson who originally rented me the tux went "to check with his manager." Knowledgeable help, ample modern selection, and excellent tailoring. I have a husband and 4/teen boys to dress (all different fits: tall/skinny, tall/husky, tall athletic, and youth) and they all prefer the quick, easy, professional yet no-fuss help. We all prefer the Kator shop to both Mr Mac and Men’s Wearhouse.

UPDATE BELOW: I've used Kater shop in the past and been satisfied. But the condition of the suits I just purchased was less than expected. They were both very wrinkle so I called them and they said either to take it to a dry cleaners or I could bring it in and they would see what they could do. The person that was behind the counter finally acknowledged me as I was standing there holding a suit in a Kater shop bag and asked what he could do. I told him about the issue and he asked who I talked to. And went to get that person that was helping another customer. He reluctantly cane and took the suit and said he would do it. 10 minutes or so later he brought it to me and said there ya go. I guess I should have checked it while I was there. He did not do anything to the suit it was just as wrinkled as when I went in. Needless to say I'm now going to have to take two brand-new suits to the dry cleaners and pay them to get the suits looking like they should when I purchased and picked them up. Our son is a football lineman and then a swimmer. Since it is his senior year he didn't fight to keep the wait on his suit needed altered! They did it will and quick. Wish I had photos but I don't.

We have loved Kater shop and it’s products until now. We bought three white shirts brand name Tempo. They are awful. They were expensive and have to be ironed, the wrinkles are hard to get out with an iron and to make matters worse, the collar does not fit right. We are in Lithuania and have to deal with them. I bought some new dress clothes here for my sister's wedding. Each employee I interacted with was very polite. I got my suits back very quickly. I wouldn't consider myself a vain person, but the first day I wore my new suit I had to look at myself in the mirror at every chance I got because I looked so good!

Helpful, professional staff take the stress right out of outfitting a missionary. Their packages make it simple and if they don't have an item, they will order it for you. Seriously couldn't be happier or more relieved as a new missionary mom!

We went here completely last minute to get our son a suit. The service was amazing! They were actually able to hem the pants while we waited so we could take the suit with us. They completely exceeded our expectations.

Needed a shirt shoes and pants for a wedding that night snd they were able to tailor the pants for us just in time!!!! They did accidentally give us a short sleeve instead of a long sleeve, and because of the short notice we had to wear it for the wedding but when I came back To return the shoes they were very helpful with that situation!! Good service in getting the right fit.

Haven't shopped there for years. We got a coat from them and they gave us a pick up date and it took another week after that because of some dances they said. They should have known when they gave us the date. When my son was going on a mission the clothes there where more expensive then any other place in town. Will not go back and I tell everyone I know not to shop there.......

Great store. I went here to get tuxedo rentals for myself, Dad, and groomsmen for my wedding and everything went very well. They double check fits and styles and educate you in the process. There’s also a great focus on customer service. Definitely coming back if I ever need another rental or suit.
