Omg! Saw Dr Cassidy on a podcast, and when he spoke about ketamist treatments at his practice in LAKELAND, I was elated (in a depressed kind pf way). Called the next morning and had appt that afternoon! I was profoundly depressed, but after the first treatment, I felt significant improvement in my mood (thank God!). After the second treatment, ptsd symptoms diminished . Past events became neutral memories, I quit reliving them and quit re- traumatizing myself over and over. After the third treatment, I swear i looked thinner, walked differently, had more confidence. Have had 5 treatments and am now in the process of reclaiming my life. She is a comprehensive provider and is able to address all of my problems, including my physical and mental health. She is the only provider I have ever seen that I truly feel has listened to me and addressed my concerns to get to the root of the issues. Under her care, I have been able to have medication adjustments and therapy that have helped me become the best version of myself. Her experience in primary care is beneficial as she is able to educate on guidelines for overall health. She is patient, understanding, and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Cassidy is fantastic! He allows you to talk without interrupting or judging you. Their script refill request system is quick and easy (mine was ready in 3 hrs!), super easy to reach the Dr through an internal messaging system, and they offer video conferencing appointments so no wasting time in a waiting room. I’ve seen Dr. Cassidy and Rachel Houser since 2019. They both have helped me. Dr. Cassidy is passionate about finding the correct diagnosis and best ways to help. He researches and keeps learning the best ways to help his patients. They both listen attentively and discuss concerns. They do their appointments in office visits or telehealth, whichever is preferred. If you need to get in on short notice, they can normally get you in pretty quick. I’ve been seeing Dr Cassidy now for around 10 years. I’ve heard others talk about bad experiences with other psychiatric doctors and feel for them because they’ll give up seeking help or treatment. That’s not the case here. I feel this is a doctor that genuinely cares about his patients. In the beginning it took a little time to find the treatment that was right for me, not everyone is the same. But he persisted and I’m far better for it. I’ve recommended him time and time again. I have been seeing him for over 11 years. I am a nurse and he listens to you-I have a concentration problem that is actually caused from a genetic connective tissue disease. He is the only doctor that worked with me while this somewhat rare condition was slowly researched and he is the only doctor that would actually treat me for it. The medication also fixes several serious side effect of the connective tissue disease. I honestly don’t know what I would do without him! He is compassionate and empathetic. He cried with me when my stepfather died a traumatic death on Good Friday and then my brother died unexpectedly 3 days before Christmas. He also treats some other issues that are the result of the connective tissue disease-being mild depression…he is a rare gem in the medical field. He doesn’t accept insurance, but his rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend him…and, as a RN….I am more than a little fussy about my doctors…. Less
