I’ve been seeing Dr. Rachel Scanlan for around 5 years now and she has been compassionate and committed to working with the unique circumstances of my diagnoses. Because of her dedicated care, it was an easy choice to have my son see her after his own diagnosis. I chose Dr. Luke Houser to see my 9-year-old daughter. I was nervous at 1st but was immediately put at ease when a serious incident occurred and he brought us in for an emergency appointment and spent the session allowing her to speak on her own terms. Now we have a plan of action in place and I’m so grateful to have found Cassidy Psychiatry.

Luke Houser, NP has been an absolute lifeline during one of the most difficult seasons of my life. His care and compassion have been genuinely healing. He is consistently kind, supportive, and steady, and his clinical expertise is outstanding, especially with complex symptoms and thoughtful medication management.What I appreciate most is that he doesn’t default to “just meds.” He’s knowledgeable about integrative and complementary approaches, encourages lifestyle supports, and always collaborates with me so I feel informed and in control of my care. I never feel rushed, dismissed, or talked down to.The staff is excellent - efficient, courteous, and responsive - and the office environment is calm, clean, and welcoming. I highly, highly recommend Luke (and Cassidy Psychiatry overall). He’s the best psychiatric provider I’ve ever had.

I had the opportunity to work with Dr Luke. He has been a phenomenal psychiatrist to work with. After having a nightmare of an experience with another clinic I was so relieved to work with somebody that was very professional.

Dr. Cassidy is amazing. We had noticed a change in my mom and saw 4 different doctors who all just said it was normal brain aging and depression. They piled on the meds and she wasn’t our mom anymore. That’s when I reached out to Dr. Cassidy and he turned her completely around and now we have our mom back, even if it is only for some time. He gave me important information on how to keep her safe and where to go for further help. We got her into USF Memory Institute at his suggestion and they are great too. My mom always says she is glad we didn’t give up on her because she was lost. She says “Dr. Cassidy is an amazing, caring, and thoughtful doctor.” She loves her visits with him. I highly recommend Dr. Cassidy.
