I joined the CyberXcel Applied Cybersecurity Analyst program to build more hands-on SOC skills alongside my work in IT support, and it's been a worthwhile investment. The program focuses on practical application rather than theory alone. The labs and scenario-based exercises helped me get more comfortable with alert triage, log analysis, and structured incident response. They also connected well with the certification study and home-lab work I'd already been doing. The trainers were approachable and gave useful feedback, and the content felt relevant to current industry practice in Australia. It does ask for consistent effort, especially when you're working full-time, but that effort pays off. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to move into or strengthen their skills in a security analyst role.— Vipul

As a student at CyberXcel, I've found the program to be a genuinely practical and supportive path into cybersecurity. The training focuses on real-world, hands-on experience with tools like Splunk, CrowdStrike, and Defender rather than just chasing certifications The weekly group meetings and one-on-one sessions provide personalized attention and a welcoming environment where questions are encouraged . The support extends beyond technical training into job-readiness, with help on resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and mock interviews

I would like to thank CyberXcel team for their support in my study, preparation for the new role and successful job hunting.Even though I learned a lot about cyber before joining CyberXcel, CyberXcel team helped to structure my knowledge (our evening live sessions were the most valuable for me) and have hands-on experience with tools and real environment, which is constantly improved and developed by the CyberXcel team.Of course getting a gob required lots of efforts and persistence from the job seeker, but guys helped me to go the right direction to get a job and pivot from finance to cyber.
