Words cannot adequately express how grateful we are for Dr. Lee. ❤️🐾We recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our beautiful little girl, Delilah, at 17 years old. Delilah had been part of our family since we rescued her at just three months old, so saying goodbye to her after almost 17 years together was one of the hardest things we have ever had to do.Dr. Lee was absolutely incredible through every part of this experience. She came to our home a few weeks before we had even set a date to say goodbye, and from the moment we met her, there was something incredibly comforting about her. Her presence, the way she speaks, the softness of her voice and the genuine compassion she has for both animals and the people who love them immediately made us feel safe and understood. When the day finally came to say goodbye to Delilah, Dr. Lee arrived on time and never once made us feel rushed or pressured. There was no sense of a schedule or that we had to move faster than we were ready for. She simply gave us the time and space we needed to love our little girl, hold her, talk to her and say goodbye in our own way.She treated Delilah with such tenderness, dignity and love. In one of the most painful moments of our lives, Dr. Lee somehow brought a sense of peace into our home. She made an unbearable day just a little bit easier, and that is something we will never forget. What has touched us just as much is that her compassion did not end when she walked out our door. Dr. Lee continued checking in on us afterward, asking how we were doing and offering to help us in any way she could. That meant more to us than she probably realizes.Four years earlier, we had said goodbye at home to our other little baby, Sampson. Delilah was still there afterward to help us through that loss. This time was different. Saying goodbye to Delilah meant coming home to a life without either of our babies for the first time in so many years. The emptiness and grief have been incredibly difficult.Dr. Lee understood that this wasn't simply about losing a pet. We were losing a member of our family, our little girl, and a huge part of our lives.Dr. Lee, words truly cannot describe how grateful we are for you. Thank you for the love and compassion you showed Delilah. Thank you for the kindness and patience you showed us. Thank you for allowing our little girl to leave this world peacefully, comfortably and surrounded by the people who loved her most. You came into our lives during one of our darkest moments, and because of the person you are, you brought comfort, dignity and peace into that moment. We will never forget what you did for Delilah or for us.From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Dr. Lee. ❤️🐾Gregory & Sam
