Donkeys cheesesteaks are the best. Glad the one in mount holly is there because I was able to enjoy one while waiting for my grandson to be born (its less than 5 minutes from virtua).

I walked by Donkey's place after visiting the town and discovered this amazing little place. Anybody looking for a cheesesteak at nearby of JB-DML, the local military base, then dont look no further than here. They feed you well, friendly staff and wonderful staff, and places to sit outside. You won't be disappointed if you stop by for lunch or dinner.

There are 3 Donkeys locations. I recently visited Donkeys Downtown. This location is a walk-up window with outdoor dining. For my 1st visit I had a regular cheesesteak(grilled onions,American cheese, on a poppy seed roll and I added spicy ketchup). It was huge and the best cheesesteak I've had in a long time! The young lady that took my order was very courteous and seemed to be very happy! I only waited under 5 minutes before I was sitting at a picnic table, under an umbrella, and completely enjoying my sandwich! I WILL be going back again and would highly recommend them to anybody that loves a good cheesesteak!!!

Went to Donkey's Cheese Steaks with friend for first time at Mt. Holly NJ location. Doesn't look like typical steak sandwich but amazing! I had Cooper sharp American cheese, sauté onion and French fries with spicy ketchup. Staff was fun and accommodating! Totally made our day and full for the entire day from lunch. I didn't need dinner tonight. Wow!! ☆☆☆☆☆

This was my second time coming here, but first time trying their cheesesteak. I waited maybe about 10 minutes in the rain for this sandwich and the wait was worth every second! I ordered my cheesesteak with fried onions, cooper sharp, ketchup, mayo, and it came on a seeded roll which I loved. This cheesesteak was phenomenal and I will most certainly be back! Thank you for a great experience!

Far better than any cheesesteak I’ve had in philly. It was sooooo moist and well seasoned I was honestly shocked by how good it was, the bread was very soft. I got mine with the onions and it was delicious! I can’t wait to come back.

It's a cute little roadside stand with a seating area and a couple parking lots surrounding it. I got the cheesesteak which was great. It came on a poppyseed roll which was unique, and the roll was fluffy yet firm, it was fantastic. The "donkey tails" are chicken fingers, but huge. Didn't get any but they looked good lol

Ordered a brand new cluck u sandwich got the gochigong sauce. I'm an absolute heaven perfectly fried seasoned crunchy bird, beautiful poppy seed roll loaded with sauce and pickles. Probably one of the better chicken sandwiches I've ever had. They're donkey tails also look amazing. And I'm very interested by the steak sandwich that they serve which is also on a roll and is what they're known for. Seems more like a traditional steak sandwich than a Philly cheesesteak but based off of how good this chicken sandwich is, I can only imagine how good the steak sandwich is and I will be back to try it. Just a heads up though, it is a walk-up location, there is no inside. There are outside tables with umbrellas though! And plenty of parking if you would like to eat in your car. It is also next to some electric car fast chargers for anyone who also needs to charge of the car.

Delicious. Got their Philly cheese steak with provolone cheese. It comes on brioche bread, and perfectly balanced in flavor and content. They seem to have exclusively outdoor seating, and are very dog-friendly, giving my dog a clean ceramic dog bowl with filtered water.
