Here’s my story - I had my roof resealed and painted. Ever since my roof in my kitchen has been leaking with heavy rain. The guy who resealed couldn’t fix it and other than the sarking, it was difficult to pinpoint the cause. I had two other roofing companies, all with great ratings, come out and look at the roof. The first wanted to replace the entire roof which was not feasible, and then promised to quote on replacing the sarking in the questionable section. He never did quote, when I called he cited difficulties getting roofing tiles (even though I had access to hundreds of tiles). Another guy came out and had a look, but booked me in for a $250 inspection which I was happy to pay as the leaking was damaging my ceiling around my air vent - it was only a small drip but over time you could see what it was doing. I booked him in but after three weeks of waiting I called Grant for a make safe. He came out that afternoon with a back injury, got up on the roof, had a look at the skylight and the area in question, found that some build up of sand from the tile resealing and painting of the tiles six months before had created a dam so the water was diverting down into the roof. He didn’t charge me right there and then but told me to wait for a couple of weeks to see if it worked even though he was 99.9 per cent certain that was the reason. Well - it worked. Saved me an absolute fortune. Grant is definitely my roof guy. I’ve recommended him to all the people in my pack of ten villas. This guy has integrity. Refreshing and restored my faith in humanity.

I have had roofs at two properties done by Grant and his team, he is a perfectionist and does an excellent job.The first was adding a roof to an extension and matching it in and restoring the old roof. The job is perfect and the finished look seamless.The second was a restoration of a terracotta tiled roof at my own home, which needed cleaning, rebedding and new valleys. Again the work done was to a high standard and the end result was excellent, it made the house look as if it had just been built.You might get a cheaper quote from somebody else, but you will not get a better quality job and one that is guaranteed.
